I was just there about a month ago and thought it was neat what they did with the seat design. They designed it to make a wave effect all the way to the upper bowl when Lemieux poured melted ice from Mellon Arena on opening night. The only thing I didn't like about the seats was that they were made of fabric instead vinyl like other arenas. I also noticed some were already falling apart too. I liked how all the section signs were sections of metal from Mellon Arena which they preserved and wrote all the section numbers on. I thought it was a really cool place to watch a game

Yeah it sucks. I already had to get rid of some of my stuff. I’ll definitely go to some games when the Hawks are in town (I’m a hawks fan)

The Milwaukee admirals of the AHL have a bigger kids zone with a lot of cool stuff for my kids

They did a good job with ppg paints arena overall, it's def a very nice place inside to go watch a game. The only real issue i have with it is the outside design of the arena. The outside part of the arena looks a bit bland and dated, as if the arena was built back in the 1990's, instead of recently. I think they could have done a better job designing the outside of the arena to make it look more vibrant and modern, to match the inside part of the arena's, vibrant and modern feel. With that said, the crown jewel of pittsburgh pro sports parks, is pnc park. i've been to all 3 pro sports parks and pnc park is by far my favorite one to go to. There is absolutely nothing that i can find wrong with pnc park, that's how good of a place that i think it is. They really did a fantastic job both inside and out with that park.

That's the one place I haven't been in Pittsburgh! I would love to see it in person! I would agree the outside is a little bland. Not sure why they didn't do something a little more interesting. Oh well, at least the inside is really nice! haha. Thanks for watching.

Notice the Catholic Church that almost touches the arena. The Diocese wouldn’t sell so the city just built an arena anyway.

Ron Burgundy we flew home that night and joked before the election we’d watch America break apart as we flew home to Canada. It was a pretty crazy night.

I love Ppg but I really think Mellon arena was better cause it had that Pittsburgh feel and the whole building would be rocking to the hey song, I wish they would just upgrade the arena instead of demolish it

I do not recommend going to PPG Paints Arena. Ticketmaster now requires you to transfer ALL tickets to the ticketholder's phone which can be a major pain. Also, one of the tickets didn't scan, so we had to be escorted to the will/call window and after about 10 minutes, the will/call woman was very nice and just gave us a hard ticket. The arena is now no cash. Take your card or download cash app.
