this song has always been a favorite of mine, a song i've held close when i was much younger to help me express some of the pain couldn't describe yet. your version does it more than justice and brought me to a teary mess listening. i think now, more than ever, i really relate to some of the pain this song's talking about. becoming an adult is harsh. i want to go back to the life i've had before, but time waits for no one, right?

I've never liked this song, but from the moment I started listening to this cover, I've totally fallen head over heels for it. Something about your voice just makes everything better, I guess. :) And like everyone else is saying in the comments - do rest and take it easy, Oktavia. It's a relief to hear that you did this cover because you wanted to and not because you felt you needed to, but if ever this ends up not being the case, please know that everyone understands and is more concerned with your well-being than anything else. okay so rinne is my favorite hachi song of all time and i’m very picky on vocaloid english dubs because they usually end up losing the meaning of the song to make it rhyme or vice versa, but you honestly did a fantastic job and was able to do both! i’m gonna go listen to all of your covers now lol

Even if people already have favorite covers of 'classics', it's never too late for yours to be their new fave. I think it still follows the 'two cakes' rule, especially if its a song that makes you happy to cover.

I love love love the way the lyrics flow and sound. I've always loved your lyricwork and this is an instance where it really lets you integrate your voice into the song well. You always execute the lyrics really well; even if they look long or tricky for the rhythm of the song, you pull them off gracefully. Each cover only gets better and better. If you think there's significant imperfections in this, I sure can't feel them. I'm glad you find fulfillment in your work and realized that it makes you happy. When hard times come it can be difficult to straddle the line between rest and exerting the energy for what makes you happy. Keep singing and writing however you feel fit. We're just happy to be along for the ride.

This gave me chills. Your voice is gorgeous, and this is one of the best versions of Rinne/Lynne I’ve ever heard. I really felt your emotion, especially in certain parts. Also, I’m so sorry for your loss. I know from your community post that your grandpa was super important to you, so it’s sad that he’s gone. It’s funny how doing the things you love cheers you up more from loss, stress, or emotional pain than just “relaxing/taking a break”. I actually found that to be true for me, too; playing video games, tabletop role playing, writing, and drawing all help me, even when I feel like I don’t have the energy to do those things. Do whatever helps you feel better, whether that be taking a break or singing your heart out!

This cover is so incredible and your emotion throughout is so touching. ❤ After my grandfather got sick and eventually passed away, I listened to the Sufjan Stevens album "Carrie & Lowell" on constant repeat and it was really cathartic and helped me process my grief, so basically I totally get how music can help with these issues! I'm glad you have music as an outlet and I will continue to love listening to whatever you put out whenever you put it out. Take care of yourself ❤
