the fact is aot episode s3 ep 17 got rating of 10/10 and it stayed like that for almost a year while competing with breaking bad and more legendary shows + one of those episodes in s4 part 2 "memories of past" was also pretty close to 10/10 rating but got downvoted by other fandoms , aot also had 9 times 9.9 rating overall till 2022-23 but sadly those op fans , fmab ,bb fans destroyed those ratings :(

the reason it got a 10/10 in the first place was because the anime fandom got together to put it in 1st place to make an anime at the top in a more serious website than myanimelist. ironically, doing so ruined Imdb since now anime fans rate their anime a 10/10 without trying to be objective and downvote their competition.

@@MrMetaVal I don't recall that being the reason why Hero got a 10/10, it got a 10/10 because it honestly just deserved it. Most of these episodes in this video deserve their ratings, it's mainly a certain part of these fandoms that are toxic and engage in downvote wars. There absolutely are anime eps that deserve extremely high ratings, but One Piece in particular has a problem of inflating the ratings of newly released episodes for sure.

And having a 9/10 episode in IMDB before was rare. I remember because it was when the manga reached the marley arc that the popularity of AoT came back and I voted for it when it was at 9.5/10.
