My favorite has to be "after the rain comes sunshine", I love how textured it is and it's a beautiful gradient. I absolutely loved hearing your story as you posted the videos on these paintings, as a mom myself I can't imagine how difficult it must've been to have a premature baby. Pregnancy and childbirth are scary enough nevermind going into labor well before you're expected to! You're one strong mama!

I felt like Rinske was channeling her inner Jackson Pollock on that first one. I had to chuckle a bit. But seriously, I think she’s even more talented than him. An amazing artist. These are absolutely beautiful!!
@friedoompa-loompa2876 Жыл бұрын
Sometimes it’s not about the talent. But the idea, the originality or if it breaks conventions.
@dejavu666wampas9 Жыл бұрын
If the art world wasn’t pretentious and crazy af, everyone would realize just how overrated JP is. It doesn’t require talent and lifelong study to throw paint at a canvas. All the children, chimpanzees, chickens, and others, who have fooled art critics should tell you something. Oh, and if you are starting to type, to tell me how wrong and ill informed I am, don’t bother. I don’t much care. No more than you care what I think. Save your energy.
@friedoompa-loompa2876 Жыл бұрын
@@dejavu666wampas9 Of course it doesn’t require talent. But Pollock was the first to use the dripping technique and he did it on huge canvases. If he’s one of the biggest contemporary painter, it’s because no one did what he did, his art had meaning (the expression of movement) and because he happened to be born at a time where artists were turning their backs to the academic art (impressionism, nabis, fauvism, cubism, expressionism, etc.). I’m not gonna tell you that you’re wrong. Bc as you said, I don’t care. I’m just trying to explain why Pollock was a great painter
@dejavu666wampas9 Жыл бұрын
@@friedoompa-loompa2876 - Thank you for your civil and pleasant response. I must say that I agree with the points you were making. I’ve being first, doing it big are criteria, then Pollock is to be honoured. And I suppose you can infer movement from how the paint splatter lies on the canvas. Thanks so much for the mini art lesson.👍
@friedoompa-loompa2876 Жыл бұрын
@@dejavu666wampas9 I might not be completely right, so there’s not point for me in being mad. But it’s a patchwork of what I remember from my art history classes

To each their own, I have spent my life in art, literally and am retired now still producing. Learning when to stop is a process that takes review, knowledge and decision making and acceptance. Feel like on the first piece at 1:04 or slightly earlier it was a much more powerful piece..... we are all unique, Enjoy your creativity.

Hi Rinske, your paintings and the thought behind it, are so impressive. Can I ask a question though? Do you start on a blank/raw canvas, or is the whole background painted white before or after you create your painting?

A couple of decades ago, 10 abstract paintings were judged by 5 of the most respected art critics in Europe. 4 of the top 5 chosen by the critics were painted by Kindy aged kids. There is no “meaning” behind abstract art. It is simply fun.

So you are the reason the paint prices go skyrocket.. Jokes aside, I never understood this type of abstract paintings. I do like it when in an actual objectual painting there some randomness to it, maybe an abstract background.
