I think its best for you to look at what the individual specs are for each! I am not that familiar with the pros of th ipad air vs the pro. But also your budget as well! Since I do not animate, I do not know the requirement needed or what programs you are looking to use on each. Im sure there are videos or forums that could talk about the pros and cons of each! Good luck though!

Do you have a laptop? (If you do) For me personally, it's better to get a screen tablet. Like Huion, Xp pen etc. Since some of them are like half the price of an ipad. But if you're looking for a device that's just not for drawing and smthng that more portable, then ipad it is. Btw, I'm not saying iPad is bad for animating!

Bruh, my apple pencil is acting up for the last few days. I swear it's not a skill issue 😭😭. Wishing this was me rn. Anyways, I'm gonna try and stay strong for Kaveh and Nahida.
