I bumped into Rio a few years back and asked for a picture. With hindsight I feel awful as he was on the move inside an airport but what an absolute gentleman he was and so incredibly humble. A true legend for our club and country. I only hope he will still be around to watch when I have kids, as he is still proving to be a great role model and inspiration beyond his playing career. It’s unfortunate I can no longer say the same about my fathers generation of footballers - Thanks Gary Lineker for letting my father down with your xenophobic views. If we were all the same, life would not progress. The fact that different people's have their own traits.. allows us all to contribute in our own ways. Being a Man Utd fan, so good to see Rio exploring the food, the hospitality, and the culture of Qatar. I've been to Qatar numerous times mainly as 2 day stopovers to get to South East Asia, other Arab countries, Seychelles or Maldives but the stopovers are definitely worth it to visit this amazing city of Doha. Always liked Rio as a player since his West Ham days but love a lot of his interviews since his retirement - so fresh and real
