Just as I'm giving Owen a rare compliment on his analysis, he starts talking about "Gravenberch is a defensive midfielder he should see that danger." He's actually NOT a defensive midfielder. Watch the average positions of the Liverpool team over the season, and you'd see that Gravenberch and Mac Allister sit around the same position in midfield. Central midfield. Which is where they BOTH play! Gravenberch does NOT play as a 6. It's baffling how many professionals have just assumed that since Fabinho left, Liverpool wanted another 6 in the mould of him🤔... even when Slot came in, the narrative was still that "Liverpool need a 6 to replace Fabinho." Towards the end of the season is a much more pressured time and that’s when players are getting tired and all that stuff so they will probably fade away but they are doing really well…
