By the look of all the plants I'd say there is a lot of current. He's just floating and it would be very hard to stop.
@biotopia53195 жыл бұрын
as Arne said, the flow was very strong and in this place you are not allowed to place your feet on the substrate (so as to leave habitat undisturbed) so in this case I had to go with the current.

Amano would have loved to see this..it answer critics who say "the jungle" is a better or more natural look. Funny,but see here white sands,compact ground cover of Pennywort,rocks coated in something like moss..hard to make out. Lotus and even that pleated sword plant are all part of his look as in the Lisbon tank. btw Tai, is that big pleated Sword the one sold on internet for $100 in tiny plantlet form? Look much alike and I think you had said it was not in the trade.but,maybe smuggled that's the one?

Very cool. Are those serpe tetras in the beginning? Also, what are the largish tetras with the black bar on the caudal peduncle and the black dot near the operculum? Cheers, Chris

What Nymphaea sp. is that? and ..I've never seen Nymphea that grow in a strong current along with no pads. OR, is this the coming out of dormancy growth with stems and pads to come later? Nymphaea in the middle of stream..so different.

The Dallas Aquarium put those Brycons in their large Amazon tank with Arapaimas. Surprisingly,no Pacu or Arowana...so those Brycon spend the time biting the hell out of each other's tails and fins..horrible huge chunks missing. Even the big Red Tail cats dorsal fins are a bit short. What gets me? The DA must be blind to keep that going. 🤦♂️
