Rio Tinto owns half of a potential copper mine near Superior AZ USA. It has one of the deepest mine shafts in the world. Unfortunately it is not licensed to operate so it just sits there and costs money.

Arizonans will continue to fight tooth and nail to stop this heinous proposed mining project that will not only destroy a Sacred Apache religious site it will destroy one of 5% last remaining riparian sites in AZ. Rio Tinto's horrendous reputation of environmental destruction and catastrophes precedes them. Not to mention, Arizona does not have enough water to sustain their unregulated 250 billion gallons of water consumption. WE WILL STOP THIS MINE
