Isn’t kinross right down from them? How do they get their water? How did they get their environmental permit? This still sounds like years of work before any production profit and more future delays and issues.

Most probably they'll build a desalination plant to supply water to several projects like Kinross Lobo Marte (maybe also Maricunga II), Norte Abierto, etc. Water availability will be a cathalizer

"Chile is a good place to do business" says the man whose mine was refused due to a furry rat in the next valley that no one ever heard of. Yeah - great judgement. This mine in this monkey country was totally top heavy in its board and management for such a small (heap leach) enterprise. Were these guys and girls paid all the time that they were doing SFA, while investors lost up to 80%? Paid while doing nothing during Covid; then paid during this further period of waiting. All that money raised gone on people doing nothing. Mining can be great for insiders - management and directors 1: shareholders 0.

well looks like you have hearing issues. all your concerns were addressed in the interview. please listen again and try to pay attention this time.

@@axandbro Very rude. Have you even read ths financial statements??? Only 9 montts 2023: Management/employee costs - $1.9m Share Based Compensation - $ 864k Director fees - $111k Not bad for a mine just sitting there while consutant draw up studies about rats. . "We cut G&A costs" sounds like they fired the janitor.

Alex Black openly criticizing the Chilean government isn't smart. Not when they hold the companies financial future In their hands.
@axandbro Жыл бұрын
@@robertdagge200 not rude considering your original message. whatever, we move on. you're raising an interesting question. ultimately, should you pay up for top management with great track record or treat them all the same? you know people can change jobs, so how do you keep them in place?

After the Chilean government didn’t approve the EIA for the Fenix Gold, Rio2 canceled more than 80 jobs and they keep only key people, less than 20 employees. Listen carefully what Alex is explaining.
