Skyen hits the nail on the head. As a yorick main that frequents his comments talking about my boy, I was devastated to not see yorick. I don't think i've touched the game since leaving the graveyard, (i will go back and finish it but not yet.) and not only is he THE guy to fight the ruined king, the guy set up to fight him, but he's also THE GUY that riot seems to forget about the most. Well, maybe not THE guy, but he's literally a meme at this point because of how much he's slept on. "You Will Remember Yorick Mori" is a quote, but they DONT remember him. Anyway. I was very sad to see he isnt in it, game's fun I suppose.

In the end I wouldn't put lack of Yorick in this entire event on team behind Ruined King tbh... remember, it was supposed to be a prequel to the League event, so their argument [We didnt wan't to include champion if we knew we couldnt do them properly, as big part of the story / Maokai took priority because it allowed to have different part of the shadow isles to be different visually than the rest so it wasnt just all greenish.] Maokai and Yorick were both filling the simlar role but from the perspective of game dev one made more sense than the other... which YES, it's a shame and big hit to anybody that likes Yorick. But I will still keep the blame for it to the LoL managment that picked other champions because of appeal to bigger audience with the skins..

@@angelimunoz7280 Heroic Hullbreaker was no joke. After not having saved for over an hour, I accidentally started Hullbreaker a couple levels down, thinking it was a fishing spot. Barely eked out a win with nearly all of my potions and tons of progress at stake. Most satisfying and stressful experience in a game with tons of satisfying and stressful encounters (a couple of which were even harder than this!)

First tried it with Braum Ahri and Yasuo, Sure braum gets 1-3 shot but Ahri just revives with speedlane heals and taunts again, I used ahri dispel as well and Yasuo gale cut + raging wind to obliterate his HP. One fight i actually screwed up is the Braum legendary compnent, against executioner + mistwalker secret mob i ran cuz i couldnt beat it no matter what i did, the executioners massive damage destroyed braum and the aoe from the mistwalkers forced me to using slow heals for team, didnt realize it fkked up my chances of legendary braum shield tho.

@Necrit Just imagine Yorick unlockable via DLC, using his shovel to uncover items, maybe trying to find some information about the maiden Maybe a DLC with Kallista and Hecarim But my true dream is a cinematic where Karthus tries to kill a team (ie Miss fortune team or Sentinels) and a character like Gwen or Senna shileding the team, then Thresh throwing the lantern to save him and Karthus getting a new purpouse, killing them all. Also, Yorick who was known as the antagonist to the Ruined king should be now trying to stop Thresh? Honestly this year isn’t the year to be a yorick main. Starting off with a really big buff one patch making him actually viable in higher levels of play. Then immediately a patch that put him in a worse state than he was before. Then looking forward to the sentinels of light event and we were very excited for our grave digger to finally complete his life’s purpose and bring down the ruined king. But in that game he was nothing but an Easter egg. And then later we finally get another Pentakill Skin which looks very cool and everyone was extremely excited for the hat. But riot didn’t give it to us. A coder in the community litterally did it in like a day, yet a large company couldn’t? Then we get to the ruined king and, although it is a very very good game, the fact that Yorick didn’t actually have any role in it really just hurt even more.

Honestly, it feels like riot despite making a whole game about the Shadow Isles and having a ruination event, -they don't give a single shit about shadow isles champs. I mean ffs Karthus got cut because they felt Graves and TF deserved it more, two champs who don't even belong to the shadow isles. They themselves said here, Yorick is (or I guess was ?) the staple rival to the ruined king he was "the guy was connected to the ruined king". Then why is he not in the actual game ? Because "we don't want everything to be green and rocks". I mean we're lucky we got Maoki but the conversation of cutting a majority of the champs who BELONG to that location should not be in the equation. Just listen to how they brushed Kalista under the rug in like 3 sentences here as well. Like Thresh and Hecarim are the only 2 shadow isle characters Riot seems to care about or even acknowledges. Plus as a side note back when Riot released those Chibi Champ avatars a while back, literally every single region in Runtera got a capsule with their champions- except for yet again the Shadow Isles. They love to rave about the Shadow Isles with all this promo, but when it comes to the characters who belong there they simply don't care. Its like the love the location but hate the inhabitants.

my favorite easter egg of the entire game was the gwen easter egg. Its clearly gwen before she became gwen but for all intents and purposes, she is just a random inconspicuous doll seemingly meaningless compared to everything else going on around her. and you cant interact with her and there is no lore ingame surrounding her so for all intents and purposes, thats all she is. Obviously LoL players will know who gwen is and the meaning of that doll, but for people who never played LoL it can easily be overlooked as just a random object.

As much as I like the thaught of Viego being creative by being hot, once I saw the other concepts, I got sad. Makes me disapointed what we could have had instead of another copy paste pretty anime boy. The thaught of having a unique undead king by having Viego be young is good, but thinking about the fact that latest League champions have had that similiar hot anime boy design. And this makes it so that a more monster looking undead king would have been not only pretty unique in general, and would have fit more with other mostrosities in Shadow Isles, but it would have also been a breath of fresh air to have a new champion that wasn't designed to be a pretty face. And the uníqueness of having a less humanoid would have been cooler than an a young attractive one. In short, making Viego an attractive young king Good idea Bad timing

Not really hoping a triple A type of game, because the developing will be much more harder, and that can be influence the bad quality of the game. A simple with a lot of mechanically gameplay is much more suitable for lore based game. I think

I know MMO isn’t usually included as AAA games, but in terms of size it’s definitely going to be the biggest thing they’ve ever done. AAA story driven AAA title in the League universe is going to be absolutely fantastic though, again there’s so much story to choose, the Noxus invasion in Ionia, Demacia’s conflict, the Ichathia Void war, basically every region has so much potential for a really deep game with AAA quality.

But if the quality deliver, then why not? For now, i just hoping the Runeterra MMO will deliver the all we need, the quality, the mechanic, the long hoping of the great mmo with a great lore and story

i finished it on heroic on my first playthrough cus these type of games are always meant to be played on max difficulty for maximum immersion, however after getting Ahri it was extremely easy. It was only hard until i got Ahri and afterwards it was a faceroll

@@gamelover2222 Braum Ahri MF. Braum with starting overcharge and with a taunt/defense build that was spammable and some buffs when i didn't need to spam taunt. Ahri with hybrid build and essence theft buildup (so she can top hp up with passive), she does good damage while healing a lot MF with shredder build, that skill is way too good and has good synergy with concussive blows if needed and in general MF's damage is outrageously high After i got Ahri, besides a few times where my teammates would get oneshot or i'd make a mistake and lose someone and have to res them, i didnt use any potions and all my fights were incredibly fast. It was MF's damage carrying but damage isnt the whole story i suppose the only thing about heroic is that when ur fighting bosses or something u actually have to use the skill "defend" even on your damage dealers , before big aoes

@@DJPonko For me its, illaoi, Yassuo, and Pyke. Pyke Debuff build is straight up delete people. With the correct gear and ability, you can basically dish out 8-9k dmg per round, and it doesn't even need any setup, just use his 3rd skill and done. Combine with Yassuo and his Crit buff is even nastier. And illaoi is honestly really busted late game seriously you basically cannot lose if Illaoi is on your team. You build her as tanky as you can be, and you can basically throw defense out of the window and basically makes spam her 3rd ultimate and become Revive machine, I repeat, you its basically IMPOSSIBLE to lose with illaoi late game. . I straight up ignore most of Viego's boss mechanic except for the mist one where you can only damage him when your character inside the mist. Because i deal like 10-13k damage per second.

Ruined king was my firstt ever that style of game. I bought it not knowing wether id like it, but man did it blast me away, i havw yet to 100% it, but i blasted through the story and most of the lore pieces in 4 days despite a rather nasty cold and i loced every bit of it, the story, the world, everything was just great and my man maokai got some redemption from ritos sidelining

I am hooked up and now I need a sequel with many other champions reimagined with more than 4 abilities and a passive! Man, the story was do good without yorick that I forgot about yorick. I think the only way I could think of connecting him to the game would be making him the narrator and at the end, have him tease the coming of the sentinel of light. Like this game was a story/past and Yorick was in the present. We might have to tweak some of the cutscenes but I think it worth to include yorick into the game.

Seeing Viegos concept art and realise all that unique flavours were turned down for a generic young anime guy really just disheartens me. I can accept the younger guy aspect, but the execution and wasted concept just shows how much skin and champ sales influence them. There's no real excuse for not having yorick in the ruined king game but having characters like braum, mf, illaoi, pyke and gp show up. The devs did a wonderful game, the story telling is so damn good, but damn if the lore isn't just disrespecting a lot of shadow isles champs.

Yea I would agree Hecarim, Kalista and TF and Graves not being added into the game helped alot in my eyes. Introducing so many characters into one game would make it hard to focus on what is going on. Think the game was fine for how it was and having more characters put in that are in their region might not help with the game overall.

Brilliant moviesize vid about the making of pc game and even more entertaining then many movies I saw. 😉👍 But for me it is also a tribute for the 3 Lore-Musketeers bringing us so much fun in different ways. Necrit, who fires details and eastereggs at us about a vid we thought we had unterstood. Yet his smile always says: I know even more! Dinka, the Loremother who wears her heart on her sleeve when she is reacting to new LoL content although you get "full body reactions" from her (the ruined king trailer reaction is the best reaction vid I ever saw. Must have seen it a hundred times). And TBSkyen, who doesn't even need to appear in person because his voice does all the job when it comes to show his emotions and you get a free animation scholarship without even noticing. Whatched the whole arcane series with your audio vid. Now, that was an experience I would not want to miss. All of you keep doing what your doing in the way you do it. You can be very proud about what you have archieved already. ♥️♥️♥️

Honest feedback. Before watching this I saw this was like 100 minutes of talk about a game I had heard about from it's launch but never caught my attention, partly because of my impression of how it looked and how I would think it plays out, and partly because I was not convinced that it had deapth in the story and would bring much of interest (I was not that impressed with The Ruined King event). Thinking that I will just check the start of this to begin with, I got hard stuck! This was way more interesting and fun then expected, and after watching this I am so much more interested in the game itself as well! So many interest content, but the fact that Necrit himself is in the game (in other form) was hilarious as welL!
