That sequence against mordekaiser and later rengar was very cool. Always like to see AP MF, she is like the ranged master yi, dont have to think too much, use skills when runes are up and watch as the enemy gets wrecked. I feel the change will be good for her overall, I am a little afraid that with this change AD CRIT MF will just delete everyone, like back in the older seasons.

An idea for /ff squad is a tower dive comp with Taric and the main goal by the end of the video is to all 5 dive fountain with Taric ult, would be pretty fun to watch

With Everfrost, Mejais at 25 stacks, nashors, shadowflame, deathcap, keep boots; absolute focus, gathering storm, and eyeball collection you could (and correct my math if I'm wrong) get up to 946 AP. Thats without a yuumi or any enchanter/item buffs. With that alone you would add 37% to MF's E slow making it slow for a grand total of 87%. You have to do it.

For E lvl 1-5 it's now better at over 50/75/100/125/150AP You only need 150 AP before this is better when maxed. With 500AP you're doing 170 more damage with each E. That's a big increase for one ability.

I really want to see an AP MF that runs 1st strike. With like future's market maybe too. Because it feels like it would be leggit viable and powerful. But you really need to snowball with it because you fall off late kinda really bad.

You should try out my spicy URF Varus mid build which gets 156 ability haste at full build and 190+ if you can get hextech dragons. Varus but he can infinitely poke you with Q and R. Items: Tear start into, Lucidity boots and Manamune asap. Duskblade, Serylda's Grudge, Essence Reaver, Axiom. Runes: Dark Harvest, Taste of Blood, Eyeball, Ultimate Hunter. Gathering Storm and Transcendence. Offense, Flex, Defense Q practically has 0s cd if you hold on to it for max duration and ult has a 20s cooldown with the possibility of getting even lower thanks to Axiom

While the Yuumi makes for bigger damage and crazier highlights, I actually prefer games without her. It’s hard to get a perspective of how much damage you “should be doing” based on your items/kills etc

Nashor's results in better dps true. But Lich Bane gives good burst for finishing off targets. And applies on Fortune's Q (which DOES also have an innate 35% AP Ratio so better than nothing). It also gives CDR and Mobility the latter being an incredibly valuable stat for various reasons and the former being good because E's cooldown is so long now. Zhonya's is probably the best compromise given how fast Rengar can kill otherwise. Still gives CDR. For Nashor's to work you need to make sure you're fighting a comp you can safely walk up on to auto. Otherwise with the lich bane you can safely E-Q then back off quickly with the extra movespeed (assuming you're not gonna get stunned / bursted just for approaching. In which case the Zhonya's)

Try a 6 Active Items build on a tank like Rammus, Singed, Volibear, Maokai, or Sion. Predator Boots, Turbo Chemtank, Gargoyle Stoneplate, Randuin's Omen, Zhonya's Hourglass, and Redemption. Bring Ingenious Hunter too for CD on the item actives.

Going till I see it, Tank talon. Stride or Iceborn, Thorn, Hydra, Cleaver, Then your choice of Gage or Maw. If you're feeling like going extra tanky though a Dead man's or a Visage isn't a bad choice. Your choice of runes with Grasp or Conq too

I did the math, and the e does more damage with more than 50-150 ap (based on rank) and the slow will be above max rank e at 250 ap

I know Zwag made it look strong in the video but it's definitely still a nerf imo. You need 250AP (~3 items) to break even on the slow and 150AP to break even on damage, but the cooldown is always 40% longer at rank 5. I mostly play aram so i think AD mf > AP mf even more now.

While I agree it’s definitely a nerf, I still think it’s viable for ARAM. You’re still going to proc laindry’s with one e on multiple champions, which was why it was so strong in ARAM to begin with- easy grouping with only one lane. If it falls off I wouldn’t complain, AD is still strong and less frustrating to play into if you roll frontline champs.

it's a buff for AP MF late game, where she needs it the most, due to increased up front damage and slows actually become much more powerful the closer they approach 100% (partly mitigated by hidden soft minimum MS mechanics but reducing a person at 2% MS to 1% (98->99) halves their movement in other games, and it still applies in league at around the 70->80 range). It also increases her first strike synergy. I've observed this with AP twitch, the highest end slow aoes are on par with some of the weaker tank ultimates (leona, jarvan) in ARAM while not having the long cooldown of something like a malphite ult

however that's just an early game nerf. Mf shines late game now. You need 250 AP for getting same slow yes, but now you get 20% more slow on your full build unlike the constant 60%,going upto 80% and even more which is massive dps as they can't walk out easily . Dps scales even higher, she takes time to break even but 3 item current MF E MF way wya better than 3 item past MF E

so what happened is basically they NERFED AD E and buffed AP E. that's a buff for AP MF And a nerf for AD e. Summoners rift has given MF AP a huge buff making her very strong late game, but aram being early game is gonna be weaker, but you tend to get income quicker in aram though. So the weakness would still exist

I've been play Imperial mandate Rylai's scepter combo for team fights. since Rylai's applies a slow to ult and that inturn applies the mandate proc. for each tick of the ult.
