I mean the idea that Comet dealt 100dmg at lvl18 , electro does around 280 and Lethal tempo allowed you to break the attack speed cap by however much extra it gave you PLUS any champion passives on top( Jinx after getting a kill, for example) was just insane. Also seeing stuff like Full AP volibear with a single nashors tooth reach 2.0+ attack speed was just straight up madness.

@@kytehq i mean yea for a late game rune it sure as heck had a LOT of early game pressure. For example first strike does like...20 dmg in the first few levels ( while being on a 30 second CD), meanwhile lethal tempo gives noticable atk speed AND range even at lvl1.

@@moonlight8451 It's still a very weird way to frame it. It's true to a degree, but needing to auto 6 times at level 1 is an investment that is difficult to make for many champs. In short trading patterns, Lethal Tempo gets blown out of the water; that's also the reason people would play hail of blade botlanes, because the initial trade is so big that you can't stack Lethal and play against it. In many ways I dislike the design, because it makes ADCs even more susceptible to assassins, but it also empowered their core stats in a meaningful way. With every update taking away from ADCs scaling, they don't really get to kill tanks, they don't really get to survive assassins, they don't really get to outrange mages, they don't really get to win lane, and they don't really get to itemize any defensive option that feels meaningful - nowhere near Zhonya's or Banshee's worth. I hope the item changes (that are well needed) can bring some new air into botlane, because right now it's neither fun nor very powerful. Often, other champions in other roles get to use your masteries/items much better than you can, making it feel like the game is designed around everyone, except ADCs. (Which is also fine in a way, but then make marksmen irrelevant as role and give them spots to shine. Not the chimera of having them here but be useless in most situations, strung along the game) TLDR : Items and masteries have had wonky design for a while particularly for ADCs, and hopefully the new changes will address it to a degree.

They removed predator because it was hell to balance.. whenever it is strong it's the most consistent and most powerful rune.. why.?? Because it made ganking very very smooth.. it removes the one sole issue with ganking and that is gap closing.. so they had to gut it off to oblivion until it is so useless.. imagine phase rush but you can activate it on command by just pressing one button.. yeah that's how strong predator is.. there's just no escaping champions who loves predator.. Hecarim, Evelyn, Galio.. I remember Udyr jg used to run it as well.. it's just way too strong when viable and way too useless when it's not..

Attack speed growth in lethal tempo champs is gonna have to be through the roof now, AND they’re gonna have other keystones. Also, they’re giga-buffing tanks, so the removal of lethal tempo means less on-hit which pretty much makes adcs useless against tanks, AND lord doms is losing the giant slayer passive. Except that most tank items will be losing 150hp. If you'd built the same items as most buy now, you'd be missing 450 hp, which is a lot. It's going to incentives buying warmogs just to supplement the loss at the cost of resistance. Big nerf to tanks

I just feel like they could have reverted LT. people tell me it use to only give you a burst of attack speed. And somewhere down the line they added more auto range on the rune and that’s why it was busted? Idk if LT was considered broken with just the attack speed. As someone who plays Xayah hearing it at first was worrisome. But PTA is sounding like a pretty good rune and a lot of items just got a bunch of AS. So I’m okay with it now.

Most people especially Yasuo and Yone player tend to forgot is how overloaded untility of their champion is. I try Yone, play like shit during lane phase, I have no damage, then all team fight later, just knock up 3-4 people with q or ult, and conatantly knock up with q again and agian in fight, its easy win, like playing tank support but with damage if you play properly and a lot harder to get killed with super op escape ability.

Lethal tempo is a rune that gives immense pressure in the early game. If one player on top runs it and you don't you most of the time can't do extended trades with them, bacause they will win. It's just that strong. Even Kayle will slap many champs lvl1 because of it... It gave too much too early. Glad they remove it

@@nimrodszocs2795 Kayle was always a level 1 menace, even before she started taking Lethal Tempo. Her passive stacked is literally Irelia's passive but with more attack speed, doesn't need to waste abilities to stack and on top of having an execute / AA reset on her E.

As someone who mained yasuo pre-lethal tempo rework, I genuinely think that lethal tempo took away a lot of skill expression and made the champion unfun to play. I went from having to take good trades and kite around waves to just being able to run down the enemy level 1 with lethal tempo. Genuinely glad to see the rune gone.

I actually liked predator I used it on alot of off meta picks in jungle and support like sion predator jungle or twisted support with mobility boots rush stuff like that which made the game more fun for me so it hurts to see this.

Lethal tempo was both broken, and not, lemme explain, it had an really great impact on tf's, but it was unconsistent on lane, take for example a Nautilus/jinx botlane duo, it Will clearly stack it to max due to nauts cc or yone having the Ability to gap close 100 times. Yet if some of these things lack. It becomes useless compared to HOB. It was prolly hard to balance it out

And inorder to use the 1000gold advantage lvl 1 you have to auto attack enemies for more than 5 times, continuously, while taking autos from them, so if u get diffed lvl 1 by lethal thempo thats a skill issue lmao
