They nerfed it on champs that shouldn't be building it. Champs with already low HP builds. Who need armor or MR. This is a good change. Champs who can still rush HP as much as possible are fine. Mundo, Tahm Kench.

Agreed. And I still win fairly often against Mundo's who build Warmogs. It's a great item especially on Mundo but it isn't broken. I think the item is fine as it is now. Because no one built Warmogs for like 5 seasons in a row until recently and Mundo was a really dead champion. Good to see him back in the game honestly

As a dr.mundo main, I know I should be happy but I think it's better than this become a second item because it is unfair how strong he becomes after that. You know Alois usually play safe but when you are a Dr main you have 90 percent accuracy on your q and can win lane even before this item so on a good Dr Mundo hand it's unfair .

@@Dracon350700 hp vs 1000 hp. movement speed is broken stat. other items were better. Heart steel used to scale off max hp now it’s item hp which means building it second is far better if you can get a better early spike, 800 gold (2 rubies) is at least a full reset later for mundo. Mundo also benefits significantly more from movespeed compared to haste (along with the entire support frontline roster). Remember, 2 ad off graves took his wr down by ~3%. The warmogs change was essentially a triple buff for mundo.

Idk why I play anything but tanks at this point, as the one chatter pointed out after he triple tapped the kogmaw and taliyah, you're essentially an 8,000 hp assassin who can also split push if he feels like. Like what is balanced about that? Long as you run flash there is no possible way anyone can kite you late, just flash on them bop them & they die in 2 hits & you still have 5k hp to spare like wtf is league turning into ffs.

Change ur magical footwork to payback, ao when u buy warmogs u can vuy additional ruby and with an almost perfect laning phase getting item and passive at lvl 9 or later when laning phase was rough

This is completely true however the money sink of boots for mundo is terrible in most matchups because unless you are fighting a lot of AD, a lot of cc, or DESPERATELY NEED MS... it feels really bad to buy boots since mundo wants literally nothing except hp. Magical footwear give more MS (insane for kiting) and are completely free. This saved money effectively pays for an additional ruby, gives you more ms, (most broken stat), and allows your second purchase to be more flexible. You could make an argument that you will be procing payback multiple times a game, and while yes it would be more gold and a lot of value, it is irrelevant for Mundo's spikes. After two items you already are completely set - magical footwear makes getting to that spot way easier. Mundo is significantly reliant on gold and xp so if you want to run payback as a sidegrade it honestly is not bad but when you really think about mundo spikes it doesn't help as much as you think. Normally by minute 12-13 overgrowth's passive effect applies (not many people know about it) which is enough with the recipe you could likely afford already to proc the passive. Nifty idea though.

I'm in Bronze 4. ( i dont play ranked) but i might try this build on toplane in bronze elo. I always face gold and platinum players in casual when i play cho'gath and have S games a lot of the time. I know that cho'gath is stronger than Mundo late game and early game but not midgame obviously. But being that strong so early with mundo people wont know what to do.
