Malzahar is not a adc counter, hes a diver counter. In normal circunstances you just can walk past the enemy frontline to R ashe. They did had vi + yasuo combo that was more than enough to destroy her, but not malzahar

I tried your build and modified it slightly. Instead of titanic hydra. I went with Warmog's, Heartsteel, and Unending despair after the hollow radiance and overlord's bloodmail. Used the new boot that allowed me to TP back to base in 5 secs. Crazy build! Constant pressure and split pushing! I had phase rush with absolute focus and gathering storm + demolish and overgrowth. Quite fun playing Sion.

The thing about overlord's bloodmail is that instead of giving bonus ad like it's supposed to, it gives base ad. Which means items like Sterak's and Trinity Force that scale off of base ad do a lot more. Getting Sterak's amplifies your constant ad gain from hp, meaning it is best built after Overlord's.

@@ford950 It was true. It was true during the pbe and during Arena. I haven't tested it today in the new patch because I've been too busy. If it isn't working for you, then they likely patched it today. I mentioned that it may have changed since this patch but youtube decided to delete that comment for some weird reason. I knew it was true last patch because I tested it myself.

I just watched a Sett PBE video (the Zwag one) from almost two weeks ago to confirm, and when they hovered Steraks it only gave AD equal to 50% of Sett's base AD at that level, despite them having Overlord's Bloodmail. The missing health passive that gives AD also didn't give base AD. So no, it didn't give base AD on PBE. Maybe in Arena, but certainly not on PBE.

Finally... someone that used Hollow Radiance instead of Sunfire. I usually go for Unending Despair with Heartsteel instead of more Armor, since Unending scale with HP as well. You should be significantly harder to kill with Unending instead of Randuin.

I dont it was prob the worst ap item in the game, people only bought it low elo cause they dont understand it. I think it had one of the worst gold efficiency for mages. very niche item to build, only very few champs could consistently build it and even then it wasnt great and champs like swain etc mages should never build it unless they are sooo ahead that it dont matter anyways. most bait item that sounds cool but most other items are better/more useful.

New rune feels really bad on top,mid,jg. Personally only works on supp the extra 100 gold from the 2100 items gives access to more pinks for plays. Adc is just starved for gold this split so as much as possible.

Needed Thornmail over Randuins. And you know it. You arnt ever going to get on Ashe with a braum support, but you can do damage to her by reflecting it back to her, and forcing her to not attack you and proc braum stacks, giving you a Win Win for your team to clean up should the Ashe lower her HP hitting you, or letting you on her with that near 400 AD

It got broken? You can only detonate the shield, if it is still up. Once broken, it can't be reused and goes on a simple CD. The shield had 45 points left, when Mordes passive went up and broke the rest.
