i commented on ur post about this on twitter, fade was strong on release yeah but she was relatively balanced. it honestly seems like the initiators are getting the fun taken from them (sova/fade mostly), and its incentivizing more duelist picks since theyre barely being touched

i think what pushed fade out of relevance was just the prowler nerf. they won't catch anyone because they're basically made of paper now man 😭

exactlyy. they already nerfed the prowler duration and delay on bite then randomly nerfed the hp too which was just too far

also i feel like nerfing the nearsight duration and then nerfing the hp too was a huge double nerf. because now it's super hard to actually get a bite and when you do, the reward isn't that high cuz they nerfed the nearsight duration by a whole 0.75 seconds. 3.5 -> 2.75

I feel like riot could make the prowler with abit more hp and longer duration time but also decrease the trap duration which would make it pretty balanced for me

I will never get over the random nerf to re-equipping after Prowler. Like that uncalled for, but that being said I do like how balanced she is and hope some slight buffs really solidify her power.

killjoy was the first agent i unlocked due to her aesthetics. i was awful with her. my second unlock was fade, and now she has double the play time of killjoy, and the most of all my unlocked agents. every time you upload i learn a new lineup and play a game as fade, and every time i take a break from her i get better going back to her. you're inspiring as hell, genuinely. much love

As a fade main I loved this video I quit playing for a handful of months and I’m just now recently getting bck into Val fade has always had something tht makes me want to play her she honestly could use something better than a tether or her dogs but I’m definitely not complaining just feel as if she could be a lot more a duelist even

Im new to this game and i love fade tbh. I always pick fade cuz im the most comfortable with her. Because im new Fades abilities help me to attack and give me chance for testing and improving my aim while She also helps to defend and push enemies back from a position. Even tho i have shitty aim her abilities give me an advantage to kill and Fade can be solo or with a duelist. Conclusion: Fade is that one girl army

tbh i think deadlock is the lowest pickrate but for fade is lower than befor even she is still good to pick.

there are agents having less pick rate than fade, like harbor deadlock astra and neon but fade's real competition is in the initiator category and i hate to admit, she is the lowest picked initiator. i have a suggestion how to make her a little strong. prowlers need to have a more health. and about her recon ability "her eye" i reckon if the hitbox of the eye was made a little smaller the eye would be more impactful. also her seize can be upgraded by just increasing the duration of seize like a moly to like prevent pushes or denying defuse.

I hated fade on release, but after the nerfs, I found her pretty balanced. She's ass rn because skye, kayo, sova, and breach just dominate her (and gekko) and they all work better for initiating their duelists I'm waiting for the giga nerf patch where initiators as a whole get nerfed
