It's really not tbh, they did the same for Riven about 10 years ago a bit after her release: her q3 was bugged in that it could hop over small walls but Riot made it into a feature even though they might have been able to fix it. They've probably done this kind of thing for years but that's the first one off the top of my head

My guess is that its a bug that will eventually be removed, but while they are trying to figure it out, theyve pointed it out as a feature so that they dont get a million pings about it being a bug.

Jhin's collector dealing 4444 damage and blitz making unwilling astronauts are dumb changes that lrague needs more these days, it makes the game feel so much more alive, like the cait and vi/jinx tooltip, they dont really change the gameplay, just makes the game itself more fun

They did deal 1 more damage to each other (jinx vs Cait/Vi) but not game changers like the hunt begin with K6 and Rengar, but it kinda sad they removed most of the hidden skills like "I'm pirate" or "ninja work alone" that give free HP if your team have less ninja Edit : or is it 1 more kill gold? I don't remember because I think Zillean and Voli deal 1 more damage to each other

As far as I know, the to the moon bug happens when a champion's mobility spell overlaps with forced movement from an enemy. So this change is inspired by the bug, but still very intentional.

i don't know about that one, but there's a similar general "glitch" with forced movements. when you apply one, the target's model is moved starting from its immediate position, so if visually the champion was in the middle of a jump or already getting knocked up by another ability, the height ends up adding together. a classic is with azir R because he moves people very high for a very short time, if at the same time another forced movement like a lee sin kick intercept the champion when it's at the peak of azir's R knock back, he spends a full second at that height and it looks so goofy.

This reminds me of Skyrim. There was a glitch where you can be launched in the air when a giant attacked you. nice to know riot is keeping this bug because Bethesda did the same thing with Skyrim because it was funny as hell 😂😂

Day 1 of me playing Skyrim, just loaded into the game and got through the intro and tutorial, heading off to Whiterun for the first time, spot some giants off to the side of the road and decide to explore as it's just the starting area, right? Cue game glitching out as I get hit once, fly into the air and never again hit the ground despite leaving the game afk for 10minutes, game saves whilst I'm flying. Save file is already screwed not 20mins into my first play through and I have to restart and make a new character. One of the funniest gaming experiences of my life despite how infuriating it was also. Never went near a giant again :)

it's quite literally Bethesda level physics. The way it works in Fallout and Elder Scrolls is that excess damage over the targets health is converted into kinetic energy. That's why you see low level enemies killed by arrows or guns get sent sailing backwards, and why anything a giant kills in Skyrim gets rocketed straight up. They're doing so much over kill damage in a downward direction, converting it to kinetic energy makes the body act like a spring. I can only assume something similar is happening with Powerfist, it's just converting the overkill damage into the knock up percentage somehow, and if it exceeds a certain threshold, the game just doesn't bother to rein it back in.

The bug still exists in several use cases Example that happened to me a few weeks ago: played talon against team with a singed. When I parkour over a wall and singed flips be just as I start, I got sent to space. It happened twice. This bug is still hilarious

Day 117 BALLISTA KALISTA A variant of tank Kalista support with an emphasis on building full movement speed; at it's core, this build revolves around the skills and one shot capability of your carry. The lane partner you are supporting should preferably pick a champion that is not a traditional adc and can utilize dark harvest and has some cc. Some of my favorite pairings with full movement speed Kalista Support are: Full AP Malphite, Lethality Sion, AP amumu, Lethality/AP Volibear, full crit Xin Xhao, Lethality J4, full AP Diana, etc. There are many champs that this can work well with. The goal is to roam at lightspeed with your carry ulted within you so that they can pop out and one shot people in a manner that can barely be reacted to. TACTICAL NUKE INCOMING It's a lot of fun. Good luck timing all of your item actives and summoner spells!

Stuff like this is fun. Btw they can't just 'fix' all the game-breaking bugs as people keep mentioning. They're barely holding their ancient engine and coding together with duct tape and failed dreams. Most of these bugs are baked in. They need to remake everything from scratch but they haven't been willing to invest in that route so far. Either that or they're hiding it until its done.

honestly, this addition feels great, and paired alongside the jhin+collector addition it feels like they're just adding little things to the game that make it feel like they care. they're things that if you don't know about them won't change your experience, but knowing about them makes the game feel like there are passionate people working on it and i'm all for more things like this.
