Back in the days before Bauss, there were lots of inting strats, the most infamous being Super Saiyan Singed, who would just proxy, die, and reset. People act like Bauss is this huge pioneer, but running it down and utilizing bounties and comeback mechanics is a tale as old as time.

The reason why Baus doesn't like to get so much kills is due to the bounty system giving an insane amount of comeback potential. This is to help dumb players who didn't play well. You can get 3 kills and get an insane lead only to lose it because you get 4-manned top. Like for what reason does the bounty system help anyone? It just incentivizes inting playstyle more. lol

While Baus was taking advantage of the plating gold in his own creative way, junglers were just spam ganking bot lane over and over and building an unsurmountable advantage off of kills and platings, snowballing the game. Riot Phreak explained that, based on an early advantage (3 kills or something) they could predict the outcomes of a high percentage of games. So snowballing was crazy strong. This nerf makes sense, although it's a bit sad
