I love every Riot era big time, but the Tony Moore era is easily my favorite. I love all three albums that he did Immortal Soul, The Privilege Of Power, and especially the MASTERPIECE Thundersteel! Riot should have been a huge band headlining arenas and stadiums all over the world. One of the greatest bands ever. The Thundersteel album is easily one of the greatest albums that I have ever listened to. Easily top ten.

i was saddened to read of the passing of Mark,i discovered Riot sort of by accident i borrowed the tape"thundersteel" from my old roommate,and it never left my tapedeck for almost a year and a half.he is/was a huge influence to my guitar playing and its funny,i had a black les paul black beauty exactly like his before listening to them for the 1st time.

With not only super-high-pitch, but also song-writing-skill, Tony Moore-era is Riot's best years, I suppose. A little bit 'boy soprano' like. Though, very fit for heavy metal sound. Geoff Tate cannot sing previous lines, but Moore can sing previous lines forever.
