I'm not a Leyton Orient fan but this is heartbreaking to watch how a big club have been destroyed by a SHITTY owner. Ömer Riza and Neale Fenn did brilliantly with what they had to work with but it's really upsetting to how the football league haven't done anything it's a disgrace #becchettiout

What the U.K. really needs is a 50+1 rule, like in Germany. With that rule it's impossible to just "buy" a club. Investors can only buy 49% of a club, so that the final decisions about what's going on with the clubs always stays with the members.

Brilliant video. As a Luton fan, I'm disgusted by what the chairman has done to a club full of history, passion and integrity. The EFL & Football League should also be ashamed for not stepping in and stopping this from happening. Spineless. I sincerely hope the owners leave ASAP, you regroup and smash the Conference. See you back in the league in 2018/2019 season with your new fit and proper owners. Back where Orient belong.

Dear Leyton Orient fans, it will turn around. I am a Lincoln City fan and as you are well aware it is we who are taking your place next season in the Football League. Six years ago, we too lost our league status after a disastrous run of defeats at the business end of the season - the memory still hurts. We've had half a decade of mediocrity since then, with a team who had never really threatened to challenge to even consistently break into the top half of the National league table, and with a board with recognisably good intentions but with no clout to back it up. It has been torrid time as a LCFC fan to say the least. This year was our clubs renaissance, a dogged campaign full of fight in the NL to take the title and a headline grabbing run in the FA Cup - we had to wait, we had to be patient, but it has finally come. It just takes a spark to lift a club, to fulfil it's potential and the expectations folks have of it, and ours came right out of left field in the shape of the Cowley brothers. It's all the more amazing what they and the players have achieved because our expectations for last season weren't particularly high. It's a different scenario for you, your expectation is obviously to bounce right back and I hope you can do that once you have managed to oust the criminal Beccheti, that odious coward. I hope you find that aforementioned spark and that Leyton Orient as a club and community can get back in the EFL as soon as possible, it is where you are meant to be. When that day comes, I look forward to crossing swords at Sincil Bank. Good luck next season.

Three Steps Sideways Thanks. Well aware of the Lincoln story, i used to follow a fans vlog on youtube back in the day around the time you dropped out and kept an eye on things in the conference. Glad you've made your way back to the football league, Lincoln fans were always a good laugh. We are finally rid of Becchetti so hopefully onwards and upwards, but i know it may take a while.

I am a Burnley FC fan and we were lucky in the 86/87 season we played your lads at home got the win and Lincoln city lost going down and Burnley surviving . What I'm trying to say is I've always had a soft spot for Leyton orient and wish you well and get back as soon as possible because a club with your history still has more chapters to complete . Good luck ....see you again soon

Heartbreaking honestly, as a Luton fan i can say i feel so much for Orient. Having the FA and EFL sit there an watch a club suffer because of negilgence. Then again if it's any consolation am a Stockport County F.C. supporter and have been so for some time, it was only around 19/20 years ago we won 2-1 away at main road manchester city and competing with the likes of WBA, Nott's Forest, Wolves, QPR. we then get relegated a few divisions get promoted via the play offs in the 08/09 season but due to poor ownership lead us to spend the worst in Vanarama National North playing the likes of, Harrogate Town, Tamworth, Leamington, Colwyn Bay, Hyde United etc....

Love this. I am an Aldershot fan and we have recently had our troubles and it is tough, even if we are not as necessarily big as Orient or have the same issues. You will be back in the league, problem is only two up from conference is a bit of a joke. The game the other week at orient was the highlight of my season, couldn't wait to go. Emotional. From a Leicester City fan for 46 years, and seeing the highs and lows of being a football supporter, this should never happen to another football club. Bad ownership is not bad football. Lose on the pitch, fair and square, you can accept that. But to watch an owner rip the heart out of a community club through incompetence is criminal. I am glad you are now back in division 4 and working your way back up the league. PS sorry about running on the pitch in 1980. I got a little excited that day.
