1999 is an expansion released in Update 38.0 (2024-12-13). It comes with a new Quest, "The Hex", in which a group of Protoframes known as the Hex try to locate Dr. Entrati in the city-state of Höllvania in the year of 1999. The expansion was teased during the Whispers in the Walls Quest and TennoCon 2023.

so long as they let us directly mod the psudo-exalted stuff then not having to use a stat stick is fine its gona be a big shame if they dont make them at least compareable to how they are with the stat stick because a lot of frames even with the most broken of rivens is still just barely useable

Modded mine for 150some odd percent Status and a 12.5x Crit DMG multiplier w/ Enervate. It absolutely melts everything 😂😂😂😂😂

I know you're getting these comments every video until the "newness" of it goes away, but I have to say... You were always one of my favorite warframe channels. The number of times I've actively sought out your builds because I just love how your brain works. With your voice now becoming a staple to the channel, you're so much more relatable. I think this change will make you a far more mainstream personnel of the warframe community (more than you already were haha). Yeah I'm glad the stat sticks are gonna go too. I'd miss the massive boosts that Rivens would give Exalteds through stat sticks, but in all honesty it won't matter anymore because we won't NEED those boosts anymore as they'll finally be good on their own. (Probably after a few patches after the March launch lol) I always hated the thought of using an entire weapon slot as nothing more than a stat slave. Rendering the actual weapon useless. So glad to hear that Garuda's Talons are also gonna get the arcane treatment. Would be nice if they were considered an absolute Melee weapon in the coding so we can just do those "Melee Only" missions without having to put a separate Melee Weapon on. Yanno, since they don't use ability energy like most Exalteds and already function as a normal Melee anyway

I think atlas will be even more useless. Unless they make it where we can mod atlas fist as an exalted. Very disappointed since I was going to make an atlas build ….

I think rivens not effecting pseudo exalted will be healthier in the long run, but they should definitely buff the weapons to where they are with the optimal incarnons otherwise a lot of them shall be useless.

​@@quinoneslara1255 they are basically making them moddable and giving the combo system to other frames to make up for some lost DMG potential due to lack of riven if I remember correctly.

I don't know why Secondary Outburst would work anymore. The interaction relies on initial combo to sustain itself. So that's not likely to change. It's interaction with melee weapons is then assumed to remain a given. So unless they change the arcane all together so that it only gives the Secondary its equipped to the crit chance and damage, we have no reason to assume otherwise. That said, the interaction should stay the same.

Not really, a melee arcane does not equal to incarnon stats + rivens with 5 points of dispo, besides, the arcane already works on the stat stick so we would just be losing the stuff I mentioned before. It will for sure be much worse on launch, khora should be fine because of the base stats for the whipclaw, the other 3 are gonna suffer for a while

Secondary Enervate was the first mod I truly went after and I didn't stop til it was maxed. It's really good. Excited to try it on the Peacemakers.

I'm sorry but someone has to say it, RIVENS ARE NOT NEEDED IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM TO CLEAR ANY CONTENT OR WHAT SO EVER THEY ARE A CHERRY ON TOP, so please stop spending crazy amounts of plat for them. the way pseudo exalts worked were bad to begin with. them finally giving them modding as they should from the start is great. i lost count of how many times i saw people asking them to make atlas landslide an exalted. the best part is, this will basically turn pseudo exalteds, into exalteds that to not have sustain, but use energy. all in all, its a win on all accounts.

I don't think it's a nerf. If anything that's a buff that means players will actually know a pseudo weapons stats on screen. Making it so they can use arcane and the forbidden mods are honestly a buff but I highly doubt melee influence is one of those mods lol

Honestly people are very short sighted. Pablo already confirmed that we will be able to mod the Pseudo Exalted and Exalted weapons will be able to use mods that they were not able to use before, such as blood rush….. Just because your not able to use a red crit stat stick does not mean that the build will be bad, depending on the stats of the weapon as well it can determine which type of Crit chance mod we use. Even the ability to use arcane on the weapons……Yet so many of you guys have been calling certain frames useless? Yea Meta Brainrot has completely failed you all. Not everything needs to be red crit city, not everything needs to be viable in steel path. A lot of you guys at like level cap is all your playing when the majority of you guys don’t even touch the game modes that actually get to it.

I guess this is fine I personally didn't even have a stat stick really at least not a good one... Would like to see a proper Riven rework honestly.... I have suggestions for it as well. 1) Narrow the gap for low dispo vs. high dispo. rivens. Example Min riven dispo floor change from (.5 -> .7-.75) and Max riven dispo going from (1.55 -> 1.3) Yes this is both a buff and a nerf but it's REALLY jarring to have some spikey rivens suddenly become meta because they rework a weapon or do an incarnon to fix it's base level and suddenly a riven or two becomes 10-20 TIMES more valuable/expensive... 2) Either riven WEAPON rerolling as an resource intensive to run option or riven focusing or something like it. For this it should be pretty painfully obvious but with the CRAZY amount of weapons in the game now we REALLY need a better way to get a specific weapon's riven to unveil. Over 200 melee weapons alone and that's just ONE category for rivens is BONKERS to grind for.... YES I understand that that is what trading is for but it's also means that the prices of ANY meaningful rivens have only gone up and up cause they're harder and harder to find a specific one let alone a good/God roll of it... we're already fighting RNG for the roll it'd be nice to have at least a chance to help/roll the rng of the weapon. 3)Maybe some different unveil challenges would be nice... I seem to keep getting a ton of the same BS challenges that are just NOT fun to do or NOT things I can just do while I normally grind... Stuff that needs an open world map is just tiresome, STEALTH MISSION REQUIREMENT BLOW hence why spy is one of the least popular missions, No kill/attack challenges... that's just stupid..., Headshot at X distance req. on SHOTGUN rivens is dumb af... yea Ik you can do it with a secondary it just needs equipped and it doesn't matter WHAT weapon does the headshot... still REALLY dumb and unintuitive for new players to suggest they pull off a 75m headshot on a shotgun with a 30m dropoff on avg... TLDR: the unveil tasks are assinine most of the time and should make more sense to what players ACTUALLY play like... I get that it's a 'challenge' but that would be cool if I knew I'd be getting something I need/want, this is for a SMALL CHANCE to roll something good AFTER you had to grind to get the riven in the first place... ffs Anyone still reading sorry for the rant but I kinda HATE the Riven system but it's become such a big deal it's hard to just ignore it.... It IS powerful but SOOOO unforgiving and disrespectful of our time investment to it most of the time...

you are and valkyr can't use stat sticks. those are only for pseudo exalted abilities not actual exalted

From what I gather, you are misunderstanding the information. The way I understand it and most people are saying, you won't need to use stat sticks for those abilities. Those abilities are going to be changed to weapons you can put mods on. So they'll still be good, but now you can use any melee weapon AND mod your abilities for good damage and status too
