El Magnifico Vazquez should have already been inducted into the Hall of Fame long ago with those trilogy fights between 2005-2008 especially knowing that he was having health issues in recent years now not if but when he gets induced he won’t be in Canastota to receive his flowers in person just in spirit. I thought of that KO earlier this year over Khlomatov, too. But I think I kept it out because those other fights, those guys were WAY behind. But you’re right, it was still a buzzer-beater KO in a fight Ford would’ve lost if he hadn’t of pulled it out. That was actually my favorite fight of 2024.

In recent years John Molina stopped Mickey Bey after losing every rd. Kelly Pavlik stopping Taylor was also crazy. Archie Moore againt Von Dirrell im probably not spelling it right was the greatest comeback boxing history.
