Instead playing divide and conquer with all the core characters, and the legacy one, Gail Weathers (shockingly), and picking them all off one by one, as per the usual tradition, instead they offed everyone who had the misfortune of wandering into the crossfire, effectively gaslighting them. Whomever helmed this slaughterhouse may not be Wes Craven, but he is a genius and an innovator. I think the student has become the teacher. And I’ll have to disagree with you there, com padre.
