RIP Louie Anderson, (March 24, 1953 - January 21, 2022) was an American stand-up comedian, actor, author, and game show host. Louie Anderson created the cartoon series Life with Louie and wrote four books, including Hey Mom: Stories for My Mother, But You Can Read Them Too, which was published in 2018. He was the fourth host of the game show Family Feud from 1999 to 2002 in its third run and second revival.
Louis was enjoying a sussefull career resurgence for his performance on the FX comedy television series Baskets and Anderson received three consecutive Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series nominations and won once in 2016.
Anderson performed a stand-up show called Louie: Larger Than Life in Las Vegas, Nevada, from 2003 through 2012. The show originated at the Union Plaza hotel downtown, before moving to Excalibur, South Point, and Palace Station hotels.
Dubbed by Comedy Central as; “One of The Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time.” Louie was an iconic comedian for nearly four decades. In this special, Louie presents four up and coming young comics, as Louie put it, "Because I is just want to pay it forward." Louie took a page from his mentor Rodney Dangerfield and payed it forward as Rodney did by giving Louie his first big break, presenting Louie on Rodney's "Young comedians special" in 1984 along with an unknown Andrew Dice Clay and Sam Kinison, wow what a contrast. Comedy Central dubbed Rodney "one of the greatest clean comedians of all time."
And yes for those who noticed, this was posted a year ago, but out of great respect for our dear friend we updated the thumbnail and title, rest in peace Louie, you made us laugh and brightened out day and you will be missed us and by millions of your loyal fans.

I like how he said “after 50 you can’t open anything” I am only 36 but I have lived a rough life and have had many injuries and my body has been through a lot. Well I had to cut a chain with a pair of bolt cutters, and it was not a thick chain. Well I managed to cut it but in the process injured my bad wrist and it’s been bothering me for weeks. I mean this was a simple physical action and I damn near broke my wrist doing it lol. I feel like I am 58 when I am 36. I am regretting wanting to be a stunt man as a kid and doing everything I could to injure myself to toughen myself up. Lol

Louie could take the simplest things and make them funny. Its refreshing to not hear all the profanity . Its hard to find a comedian thats clean. To me someone really has talent to make people laugh without resorting to calling folks, bit*hes, or ho*s. I loved Louie the first time I ever saw him. Am right now listening to his Audio Book about him wtiting letter to his deceased mother. Its called "HEY MOM", and its not a long audio book 5 or 6 cd's but funny and heart warming at the same time. I knew he had 10 other brothers and sisters, he was number 10 out of 11 kids. But get this, his mom had 16 kids, she lost her first child in birth, and lost 2 sets of twins in birth. He said they were poor, so back then I can imagine the pressure his dad was under to provide. Maybe thats partly what caused his dad to drink.. Anyway RIP LOUIE, YOUR TALENT ALWAYS SHOWED THRU..
