Was he already wearing toupees by this time. I'm shocked to see a young Rip Taylor and that he actually did stand up, and did something other than sit on game show panels and throw confetti. So by the end of this year is when he started doing his normal schtick?

Interesting that some people found this to be so bad. I thought this was pretty good. After watching this, I checked out a video of him from 1987 where Letterman introduced him… which I thought was painfully bad. Poor prop humor.
