Working on these Doom covers has given me a whole new layer of respect for what Mick Gordon accomplished - a total master of minimalism & mastering.

Everything in here is an acoustic instrument - my trusty banged up Martin steel string guitar, then I've used a solo viola & cello as a couple of hurdy gurdys, there are atmospheric fluttering flutes in the background, loads of drums and a bowed 'Monochord' to get that metallic twanging rise sound. Cinematic Studio Series, Spitfire Audio & SoundIron all represented in the samples.
