Under $30k so far, not a bad deal. Mine was $60k new in 2019. I’ve got at minimum, $10k in mods. And still owe $11k on the loan. I’d say you’re ahead.

You may be able to get away with painting the hood yourself. I painted my front and rear bumpers with a paint kit I bought off of Ebay. And I must admit, it came out wayyyyy better than what I was expecting. The kit is called BMW Genuine OEM Touch Up Spray Paint w/ SprayMax 2K Clear. You'll probably need two kits for your hood. I have a 2016 Dark Graphite Metallic F10 5 series and color match is exact and it sparkles in the sunlight just like the original. Besides the kit, you'll need various grits of sand paper from 600 - 3000. Plus a tack cloth, compound, polish and buffing machine. Prior to this, I've never done any body paint work on my cars, but there are plenty of videos on KZbin that can help you out if you decide to go that route plus it may be good content for you.
