Hopefully eventually we will have a new clicking bird soon to learn all about and have more fun times with! Maybe another toucan, maybe multiple toucans! I think adopting a couple of hatchlings and raising them together would be a great learning experience, but im sure Ripley's dad has plans that will be JUST as amazing and educational!

Oh wow, you lost your great grandmother, your grandmother, and Ripley all in less than a month? I am so sorry. I lost my great grandmother a long time ago when I was just a little kid (she was born in 1896). However, I recently lost my grandmother too. It was extra hard because I lived with her and it was very unexpected. I miss her. As for your beloved Ripley, it sounded like she had a wonderful life with you and was relatively healthy up until the hour of her death. Know that she had a good death too because you found her and she died snug in your arms. RIP Ripley.

I lost a bird too, she died because she had feet and neck paralysis, she ment so much to me, before she died I came back from school and I saw her on her cage floor, when she's usually outside of her cage, after she then died my mom said that she was fine that morning, she was wating to see me before she died. At January 24th 10:48 the moment I saw her on her side I burst out crying, I still shed tears now and then, and every time I visit my aunt house, I feel empty handed withought her little cage with me since I bring her to my aunt because she has birds too, and seeing her part of my room so empty makes me sad to see.

This is why I can't stress enough how important it is to take as many pictures and videos of your beloved pet throughout their life. You just never know when their last day will come. And when their day comes those pictures will be the only thing you can use to physically look back on your pet. After our family pet died (a dog) my brother told me how much he regrets not taking more pictures and videos of him. Thankfully my mother and I took many wonderful pictures to look back on even then it feels like it wasn't enough because nothing will ever fill the hole of losing your beloved pet.

This video randomly appeared in my recommended today. I was never subscribed to this channel, never watched a video from it, and I have never seen Ripley before. Despite all of this, I have managed to fall in love with her in just 8 minutes and 34 seconds. She was a magnificent creature, and seemed to be a great friend. Maybe it means nothing coming from a rando who wasn’t aware of this channel’s existence until today, along with it being more than a year since her passing, but I am truly sorry for your loss. I have watched a few of your video recently. I hadn’t realised that Ripley had died. I’m very sorry to hear it. She was a very beautiful and characterful bird and she clearly meant a huge amount to you. People who don’t keep animals don’t understand how important they can be to their owners. I have a dog who is 9. I hope she will live for many years to come (she’s quite small and could easily live another 5 years) but I know that I shall be really bereft when she dies. Harfar So true. My oldest dog lived till 17 and I had to prepare my heart and mind for years. As it would have it, i. wound up being unexpectedly on disability for orthopedic issues for her last year so I got to spend extra time with her that I’d ordinarily be working and commuting. You took really good care of her & it shows in her plumage, eyes & beak. They do tend to hide an illness as our Rainbow Lori passed away within 12 hours of noticing early in the morning that she was very quiet & unlike her. She was a total court jester entertaining the other parrots & anyone who would give her an audience! We never realized how much noise she made all day long playing with her toys & the other parrots. It was so very quiet after she passed & we realized that she had been eating the other parrots food as well! What a little stinker she was & after 20 years of having her as a family member we constantly miss her. You could never find another bird like her in a million years & we are so blessed for the experience of sharing our life with her.🦜🦜🦜

I know the heartbreak you're feeling..3 months ago I lost my 12 year old budgie "Goldie".. like you mentioned in your last video, pet birds are just like your children and the unconditional love gets us through the ups and downs of life. Ripley looks so happy with you! You were both blessed to have each other. Take care and stay strong.. Ripley would want this for you.
