I was ripping a new place a few weeks ago. Pulling 8” deep and breaking shank bolts. Super dry and hard. Love the videos. Nice to see a Milo cotton rotation. All the other KZbin channels I watch are wheat/pea or corn/soybean rotation. Being from Texas I enjoy watching what is done in our state.

That’s a practice not enough folks are doing today. Come planting season we air those bags up & put lots of down pressure on opening disc & root will not go down. Thanks for sharing.

It took about 2 1/2 hours. You might want to go ahead and order your parts they took about 3 days to come in

Great video! We run a 33ft Landoll vt and really like how it leaves the ground but I was curious on your thoughts on the wavy disks on your vt. How do you like them?

Do you have any problems with pink bole worms we had to have our cotton worked under before December 21 or we got fined and if we left root tops after shredding we got fined in California

Can you rip the drip irrigated land? I would assume you could but slowly and shallow? You might answer this before the video is over...

You probably need to do a CEC test on your soil
@wildwestfarmerАй бұрын
What is that??
@owensanford482Ай бұрын
Yeah, what is a CEC? We use to soil sample every year and I don't remember seeing a CEC. But that was back in the 80's.
@robertjones2020Ай бұрын
@ It is cation exchange capacity It has to do with the ratio of magnesium to calcium. More calcium less compaction We have soil test about every 3 years In N V we use Stukenholts Lab in twin Falls Idaho
