Hello, Im a tomato grower from Australia, I never grow tomatoes under shade always in full sun under plastic. Your plants are long and have thin stems, the reason for that is they are looking for sunlight. The more growth the plant puts into its stem the less fruit over its growing season, correct ventilation growing under plastic is vital in summer.

Tracy I wished I lived closer to your farm, because I would be there every week buying your produce. Great work see you on your next video.

maybe different with container gardening.? companion planting, might add marigolds to the tomatoes.

@@ChristyGolden-z2q yes that does work very well also. In a tunnel when doing the lower and lean method on tomatoes it really doesn’t work to plant below the tomato because it gets in the way. If you were to use up a bed in the tunnel for a plant that doesn’t make you any money it would not make sense to. Now planting stuff outside or in a small container garden yes I would interplant to assist with pest pressure but really no pressure with insects if so a little organic spray kills those out.

@@ChristyGolden-z2q I’ve seen that somewhere before but not to sure why? Ive done it in tunnels for the last 5 years and don’t notice any issues with it.

If your referring to possible diseases and pests I’m not to sure that is really something. If you plant a tunnel full of tomatoes or cucumbers separate you still get pests and diseases if your soil health is in poor condition. Mine is not so it works for me.
