this past august was 2 years i am waiting for a straw walker crankshaft from deere.... how ridiculous is that? still none available.... thumbs down to deere using supply chain issues as an excuse. I ordered it when it was just over $800 cdn... now it is $1365 cdn and counting.

Just catching up on your recent video…the jobs you guys tackle 😰! Did Troy or you goto school for that stuff? Serious business with engine work…especially when all you hear lately is how JD reman can’t even get engine repair right! If you don’t mind me asking…who’s your local machine shop? Troy went to Cobleskill for one year, he really learned some great life skills. We use Caledonia Diesel, they do great work!

It just kills me to see wrenches used incorrectly like that, bad habit to use the short end of the jaw as the one bearing the force. Turn the wrench around and you won’t have to worry about breaking the lower jaw.

Thank you for the advice, I believe I did that incorrectly today on another combine. No one has ever pointed it out to me before, maybe I’ll mention that in a future video.

I hope you didn’t go through the work of removing, disassembling an engine and not getting a Deere rebuild kit. Deere kits are the way, A&I or something else your just asking for trouble💀

John Deere doesn’t have kits available currently. We found a good kit from Reliance and had no choice
