1st time seeing this.. damn both if his programs were the bomb!! so different and so on point, such versatility. what an artist, keeps you interested, modern but not overly so. good job adam, you can be so proud of yourself

His turns and footwork sequences are INSANE. I tried a tiny section of that and wiped out!
@valmacclinchy2 жыл бұрын
His footwork and spins are incredible! I remember when figure skating included an artistic element. This program is a perfect mix of athleticism plus artistry. It's called figure skating. It shouldn't be a jump contest.

Unfortunately he didn’t have the difficulty because he had no quads. He definitely wins the spins and artistry hands down in my book
@valmacclinchy2 жыл бұрын
@@mht4908 unfortunately figure skating has become too focused on jumping. It's figure skating. It's athleticism plus art. This short program was gold medal worthy. Jumping higher doesn't mean you're a better skater.

@@itsallgoodman1244 yes, unfortunately quads are more important than artistry now. Adam's triples are great and he is an artist on the ice. He lit that place up.

Fixed?? LOL. No. Because your personal favorite didn't win, the competition was fixed? Rippon's short program was my favorite out of everyone, but he went into the Olympics knowing full well that winning gold or a medal for that matter was far, far from reach. Rippon had nowhere near the difficulty he needed to compete with the top tier. Finishing 10th was a huge victory for him, and helping USA to Team Bronze was all he could have ever wanted.
@imsuingyou21845 жыл бұрын
Lol! Fixed because he didn’t win. He’s an amazing skater, but you obviously didn’t watch any other skaters that got in the top ten.
