No joke one of the best covers of riptide on KZbin❤❤ I play the guitar myself and sing along, but the problem is that my guitar is louder than my voice and I don't necessarily sing quietly, especially when filming, you only hear the guitar. Do you have any tips?

Hi! Oh my god, thank you! That’s very nice of you to say. I literally just film on my phone; I typically have it quite close to where I’m playing/singing so it will pick up both vocals and guitar. I have recorded some videos with my proper equipment, and so if you’re doing that I would recommend making sure your levels are balanced on whatever device you’re recording with before starting. I’m honestly pretty amateur, so I’m not the best to get tips from, but I hope some of that helps! xx

Recording guitar and the singing separately might work. Won't work for everyone though cause some people sing completely different while playing or not playing along. For me it was like re learning how to play guitar while learning how to sing it confused me so much!

@brosekey Thanks for the tip! On the subject of you having problems singing and playing at the same time, I used to have that too but it helped me to play along with the vocals of songs (because then you understand the beat better)And playing very often eventually your hands will just do it automatically and you can sing along Hope this helps
