I think with all the movies we've seen, and with the information we know about carnivorous dinosaurs, 90%+ of us expected some blood and gore. This didn't happen, so people are mad. BUT if we put our expectations to the side for a bit, we can see that isn't bad and in reality its simply not what we expected.

But what some of you were thinking isn't what they wanted to go with. They went with this, I like it, and it shows her "killing instinct" once seeing her opponent was still alive. The rest could've been done a little differently BUT it seems that it was paying Homage to one of her original ultimates and taking it a step further and making her miss this time. So, I've praised all the ultimates so far (except TJs), but I can't say I'm a big fan of this one. I know there's the whole "KI puppy" joke with Riptor, but I feel they missed out on a big, savage, animalistic ultimate in favor of another comic relief one. Maybe unveiling it right after Kilgore's was the mistake. Hopefully Sabrewulf's will deliver on what I was looking for in Riptor's.

I actually hated it at first but it's growing on me. It's not excellent but it's not terrible either. As a Riptor player, if I win a match and I do everything that I want, it feels like I'm having a "toy" to play around so on that aspect, I see what they're going for.

I love KI, and I main Riptor, but let's break down everything that went wrong here: 1.) Riptor turns and breathes fire at her opponent. However, from where she is standing, and how the fire breath shoots in the game, it wouldn't even be able to reach her opponent from that distance. 2.) I couldn't even tell she was breathing fire on her opponent at first, I thought it was just a victory roar. 3.) A sloppy transition from the fire breath to the opponent on fire. It doesn't flow well at all. 4.) The opponent isn't even on fire. It's just a generic little patch of fire which doesn't look as cool. The ONLY good thing about this Ultimate is the end, where she cuddles up in front of the fire. That part is cute. But overall this Ultimate is kinda trash, it seems like it was really rushed out. EDIT: It seems that they have made this Ultimate a bit better since this video. The fire she cuddles in front of at the end is now much larger and looks cooler. Also, the fire coming out of her breath seems much stronger, and looks like it would actually reach her opponent now.

Also, there are many people in the comment section who couldn't even tell what was even happening in the ultimate, including the top rated comment.
