Mark, again I must say Bravo! You have found yet another small village for me to lose my heart in! Riquewihr is simply amazing and magical. I feel like I fell right into a fairytale storybook! The way you make your videos is also great because you record "first person," so it actually feels like we are the ones walking the tour. Well, it is normal that you can’t have the same thing in the US. Those villages architecture date back from the Middle Ages, when America was in the verge of being discovered. Anyway, if you want old towns architecture in the US, visit San Augustine, north of Florida; Savannah, Ga, Coral Gables, Fl, Charleston, SC. They are not as old, but they are very charming and quaint

Yet another fairytale, charming small town in Europe. I hope to visit Riquewihr one day. I've been to beautiful Strasbourg once in Alsace but hope to do the Alsatian Wine Route one day and stop in Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé, Eguisheim, Turckheim, and Colmar.

On se fait plaisir ..je te présente le village de mes ancêtres..grands parents ,arrieres grands parents côté maternel...origines Alsacienne Keller..et 4 générations avant venant de la Vendée, et de l Auvergne..je m y était rendu ..recueillement des allongés, il il à 8 ans ...bonne promenade !

How do you know they don't have a car ? Most of the streets here are pedestrians only, this is very common in France particularly in villages. How do we move around ? By walking ! 😅 I guess you're from the states ?
