Love the video and love Charlotte Tilbury. I must have 4 Iconic Nude liners stashed wherever I think I’ll need a touchup. A must-have. Love her lipsticks, concealer, air-brush powder and I really like the eyebrow gel because I have full brows but Linda covers the stray grays that have made their appearance. I don’t need fibers. I agree about the contour tube-the color and ease of use is the best. Fortunately I haven’t had an issue with it clogging. I could go on but it’s embarrassing how many of her products I have. i just ordered two Superstar Lips in Pillow Talk and Happy Lips. Every day I say I how many more lipsticks do I need?...and then I turn around and find another that I “can’t live without”! Oh well, as addictions go, this is a pleasant and relatively harmless one! As always, your videos are great and your recommendations and advice are the ones I appreciate the most. Have confidence in your path and direction. As Mr Roberts said “I like you just the way you are”.

I just bought that contour stick at the rouge sale. Still haven't opened the box yet. Now I'm wondering if I should take it back and get the Mark Jacobs O'Mega Bronzer in perfect tan, or the Bronze and glow from CT. I live in Alabama so I have to order my Charlotte online. I was in Disney (Orlando) for some of my Rouge sale so since that was a vacation sephora THEY HAD IT ALL! Oddly no Armani Luminous Silk tho. I was disappointed because I have been wanted to swatch and find my shade. I watch every Risa upload! I love your talks and tips. I am 41 and you know just what I am experiencing most of the time. Will you please do a CT lipstick try on like you did for the L'oreal lipsticks before? I usually order mine online unless I go to Buckhead, Atlanta. This would be so helpful. I loved the Victora. Congrats on the 100,000 subscribers ... you really deserve it. You work so hard to help your fans and I love that you are so overwhelmed. It's a huge accomplishment! I'd cry too. Since you asked, I use Legendary Brow Gel and love it. It isn't the greatest with respect to fibers/control but it is the only tinted brow gel that colors my gray eyebrows. All the others including Benefit Gimme Brow+ don't. My fav CT product is her Light Wonder Foundation. Her #3 Fair is my perfect match. It's a light to medium coverage foundation that gives me a natural look plus it wears great over sunscreen. I have her lipstick pencils and love them too but I prefer Guerlain Rouge G lipsticks. I think they're kinder to mature lips and the packaging with the amazingly varied mirrored cases to choose from are to die for. Thanks for this review. We all know that you LOVE CT! So extra thanks for your honesty. Would love to see you do this for other brands too. I really respect your opinion. 💘💘💘💘

Thanks for best and worst review. Agree w/you that it is easy to disregard any brand when a couple of items don't work out especially with a more pricey brand. Best /Worst videos really helps make good choices. CT Finishing powder & Flawless Filter have been tempting to me for a while. Never disregard smell of a product! If the scent is offensive and chemical, I think it is a caution. Your hair style is so cute today!

Risa, you are doing exactly what both consumers and companies need: Genuine feedback to improve both products and functionality, as well as packaging. It is rare that companies go with that twist-cap sponge-tipped nozzle for EXACTLY the reason you mentioned: It always clogs within first few uses (of the contour product). I have gone to so many Trade Shows and have seen the manufacturing end of the process, that I really cannot grasp why, as a Consumer and Makeup Artist that I am, Charlotte would approve this when SO many worldwide have raised the exact same issues with the experience time and again. Hopefully she and her R&D Team will catch this as a glimpse into the fact we truly appreciate her vision, but also need the experience to be complete EACH time we go to use products with her name upon them.

Thank you! I couldn’t agree more. Companies need to listen to consumers and respond to their feedback. Especially if it’s the same complaint over and over. If you look at the reviews of the Latex Love on Sephora, the majority mention the awful smell. You’d think she would put out a PR message saying that they are going to reformulate them without the scent as soon as possible. She would get respect from her customers AND a lot more sales!!! I know Lawless recently pulled their concealers when the feedback was so bad(either that or Sephora pulled them because they were getting so many returns!) It doesn’t matter if the creator of the product loves it as is, it’s the people spending their hard earned money to buy it that are the ones that need to approve!

I agree with so many of your picks. Howver, my #1 is theconcealer but I HATE the packaging. But, the product is SO good I ignore it but UGH it's really bad. I too have oily skin but love the Magic Cream. I don't use it every day because it's too moisturizing for my but when I am doing a glam evening make-up I always use it! Congrats on 100K. I do agree with you on the concealer! It’s another fantastic product in horrible packaging. Mine currently looks almost as bad as the contour wand I showed. It gets so messy because product continues to come out long after you’ve finished twisting it! 😔

Hi- I will have to maybe try her lip pencils again. I tried one years ago and thought it was dry and didn’t slip on the lips well. I’ve been using Milani and L’Oréal nude lip liners and actually love them! I agree with you on the Hollywood FF and her blushes are nice, too. :). I got a sample of the Magic Cream once and LOVED it too!! I have dry skin so I guess it works on many different kinds of skin. However, I was in Sephora the other day and tried Tatcha’s Dewy Skin cream and am so sad that I didn’t get that one on the sale... that felt AMAZING on my skin when I tried it... and for the price point, I think it’s a better buy. I think I prefer the ingredients in it. I wish the Hot Lips formula came in more Satin formulas. I don’t like or wear matte lipstick. I love this kind of video- thanks!

My favourite so far is the Hollywood flawless filter I use it everyday and love it. The one that disappointed me was the film star bronze an glow. The one I purchased was fair medium and I honestly could not see anything on my skin but the highlighter was nice.

At 63 I thought I was too old and it would highlight my children/grandchildren worry lines but it does not! I like the fragrance of the cream & got a sample of it to try. So glad I did. It glided on so smoothly & in the morning my skin was totally red & irritated. I tried again another time to see if it was a fluke but no, my eyes were swollen. My skin can’t handle that fragrance I guess. Love your videos!!! Please do more specific company favorites of drugstore & high end like elf or #Nyx or Morphe & how about some Sephora brands many youtubers ignore. Makeup forever? Becca? Givenchy?

I loved this video and definitely agree with your favorites. I also agree with some of your fails. I don’t mind the scent of the Latex Love, so I can’t call that a fail. I’ve been lucky with my Hollywood Contour Wand, and it hasn’t clogged yet, so still loving that. I haven’t tried her brow products, so can’t comment there. Totally agree that the Hollywood Liquid Lips are gross, thick and patchy, then get chunky. I have tried and loved all of her other lip formulas. My other biggest fails would be her mascaras. When I first tried C.T. products, I purchased 2 complete “Looks” that each included a different mascara. I loved everything in each kit, but hated both mascaras. They were clumpy, did little to enhance my lashes and flaked. I was shocked that a luxury mascara was that bad. I have never tried her foundations, because even from the good reviews I have seen, they don’t seem like they would be the best for my skin. However, other than the brow products, and some non-makeup products, I think I have tried everything else (not every color of course). Currently would have to call C.T. my favorite cosmetics brand. I am in love with the Glowgasm palette in Lightgasm, but I am still using her Bar of Gold Highlighter on other days. People complain about her eyeshadows, but I have 5 of her quads and love them all. They are a great way to pull together a quick look that I know will look great without really having to think about it. Although I would normally never put shimmer shades in my crease, when I use her shadows as instructed, it turns out great and lasts all day. I wore the the Golden Goddess Quad to work and stopped at Sephora to get a foundation on my way home about 11 hours later. The very young saleswoman who was helping me select a foundation shade, asked me what I was wearing on my eyes and even pointed it out to a co-worker. Made this forty-something feel great!

Micky Bo I love it as a subtle highlighter, u can mix with foundation for a glow , also I like to mix a little with my sunscreen, (regular or tinted) on days I don’t want to really wear make up but still like a lil glow..can be used on eyes, can be added on top of lips to highlight..it really is a great product. It’s not glittery, it really is a soft natural glow..really nice. Hope that helps!!

Those sponges were the first to go as soon as I opened my package....those sponges get full of old gloopy dry product and make the concealer apply thick and weird....fresh product mixes with old dry. Removing the sponge makes the concealer smooth and new every single time. I also don’t have a messy lid with product everywhere....win-win for me :) If that concealer wasn’t so amazing, I’d never put up with the packaging hassle.....but ya know ....sacrifices -I also love the airbrush FF pressed powder....I’m desert dry, and this is amazing! I can even use it under my eyes, that never happens with pressed powders or most loose powders....it’s worth every dollar!

Thank you for doing this video!!:) I really trust your opinion on these things, and if I’m going to splurge, I need to know what is truly worth the money, and what can be found in a drugstore that’s comparable. Please keep this up, as new products come out - I’ve watched holy grails for brands that are a few years old (other channels) and sometimes several of the products are discontinued. I appreciate it it even for mid-range brands like MAC. What color of the Flawless Filter do you use? If you like a product, but it’s not in the best or worst, can you say why? I know this video is a couple of years old but I am new to the Charlotte Tilbury lip line and unfortunately I can't find the right color for me. Everyone talks about the Pillow Talk and on me it is very peachy brown, and then I bought Wedding Bells it also comes off on my lips as a brownish tan color plus they only last on my lips for about 10 min. I seem to have that problem with just about every lipstick out there. Nothing and I mean nothing last on my lips. It doesn't matter if it is high end or drugstore lipstick nothing works. I have tried using lip liner all over my lips because someone told me it would lock the color in (not on me) I have tried the old fashion method of applying my lipstick then you take a tissue cover your lips and dust setting powder over the tissue that helped but maybe extended the lip wear for 25 min. I have tried lips stains and that seems to be the only thing that I can honestly say I get some wearing time out of, but I enjoy a shiny lip so as soon as I apply a lip gloss on top I can say goodbye to to the lip stain. Do you have any suggestions. I am frustrated and I have wasted almost $200 on on Charlotte's lipsticks, and glosses. HELP!!!!!

Great review. I love CT products! I’m on my 3rd flawless finished powder, bought numerous lip cheats, over and over again (they truly are the best imo). Also, her kissing lipsticks & a few of her blushes &/eye shadow quads. LOVE. Just picked up the Hollywood flawless during the sale. Got an example of the magic cream. Not enough for my dry skin. And, disappointed in the bronze and glow. The bronze never showed up on my skin at all, & I’m NC 30. The glow was just “meh” to me. I tried to make it work, but alas, did not. I picked up one of the latex lip glosses, absolutely love! I don’t get a bad smell or taste.

Hi Risa, great video! I heard, and I don't know if it's true or not but there was a rumor I've heard from a few people that Charlotte's magic cream is Nivea moisturizer mixed with MAC strobe cream. Have you heard that? Just wondering? I have only tried the magic eye cream, I wasn't crazy about it myself and one reason was the fragrance.

What number are you using in the CT flawless filter? I bought in shade 2 because I thought it would be a good highlight color for me . Hey Risa! Thank you for this video! I just recently bought the Charlotte Tilbury classic eye powder pencil and I have pretty hooded eyes and slightly oily lids and I use it to do a Smokey wing and it held up pretty well(with an eyeshadow primer of course). I ALWAYS have issues with my liner transferring, literally the whole line of eyeliner transfers up to my upper lid/hood. It’s so frustrating, I’ve tried countless liners. I have trouble with liquid liners because I’m really shaky, I just find it easier to smudge it out. If only they stay where I want them lol.

I love the contour! I have not had any issues with the packaging. I do store it with the sponge down..

The first few CT products I bought didn’t live up to their promise. I truly didn’t feel drawn to spend the significant dollars to get more. But it really is helpful to get a discriminating assessment of best and worst.

I have CT Very Victoria lipstick , the Airbrush flawless finish and one of the lighter foundations. like them all however the foundation I really don't care for, I have combo skin and find it a bit oily and not great coverage. I also want to get another finish powder in shade 1. Really appreciate your honest reviews and advice. Thanks!

I have some of the good or great products from CT but I also have 2 of the cream eyeshadows I purchased during the Sephora sale and I love them! They stay on from workout to evening and look great. I also have her gold bar which I love for summer. I had her first mascara that gave raccoon eyes but she has a new one that is great. You are so right that it is good to know what works because her products are expensive and packaging does make a difference. Congrats 🎉 are due. Thanks ☺️
