Congratulations on video number 500. You are a credit to the hobbyist computing community and the fight to get youngsters across the Western World to start taking computer science seriously, especially at degree level, is a good one. Keep up the fight, I doff my cap to you - and fingers crossed for the big one million!

@@terrydaktyllus1320 - Is there really a shortage of IT people in India?! Seems I hear every time someone here in Canada calls about their internet, etc. it is someone in India they are talking to! Don't get me wrong I have Indian friends and co-workers. Although sometimes the calls go to the Philippines lately. And it is funny how many of them have common Canadian English names! ;-) Never would have guessed those "English" names would be popular in those countries that speak a different language. 8-)

Not gonna lie I was a bit concerned when you said you were updating the website that you were going to make it like most modern text websites, not based on text anymore and being ridiculously heavy pages for what they are, glad to see that you have kept it simple and lightweight. There are way too many websites that are impossible to feasibly access on older hardware for no reason at all. Congratulations on 500 videos, here's to 500 more.

Greetings from across the pond near Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. We have a saying in my home state of Texas for hard working successful people that seldom sleep, and it goes like this: "Time after time, Prof Barnatt keeps bringing home the bacon." Amen! Always great content, each and every video. Today's was another super-max groovy video -- RGB shirt (with remote) and all. I take it that this item will not be found in your Amazon store front. :( When I first heard about the Pi 5, I went to your channel straight away hoping to find an EC review and was not disappointed. Happy 500! Good to see the ducks. I guess we have to be satisfied with icons of Stanley and Mr. Scissors. Perhaps they will appear in person in video 1000. I have been pondering what sort of video you can do featuring the Pi-5. (And yes, I think about the channel fairly often.) It occurs to me that the Pi-5's two camera inputs can be used to make a 3D digitizer. These are extremely popular with people who own 3D printers, but they are more than a little pricey. In addition to using the two cameras, you could control a servo to turn a turntable in precise increments. The model you wanted to digitize would go on the turntable, and the Pi would take a series of pictures. The pictures could then be assembled into a 3D model in Blender or some other appropriate software. You could even get ChatGPT to write the code needed to drive the servo and the cameras.

A 3D digitizer is a great idea. I will muse on this. :)
