There are some songs/bands so good they can drop you right back into a time in your life and make you remember exactly how felt. be it heart ache, personal triumph or happiness. RA does this time and again.

The other day a friend of mine said "His voice is weird" and I replied "Because he sings with passion. He sings with heart, and with meaning behind everything he's ever written." It seems like it's getting hard to find that these days, and nobody can put the emotion behind their words like Tim can. Rock on! RISE AGAINST!

I wouldn't say better, but more powerful... I'm gonna do that version next year at my school's talent show as a way to speak my feelings about my recent breakup. I have barely been able to talk to my ex-girlfriend let alone speak my feelings and this song is the perfect way to do that.

I love when people complain about the government. People say Communism will never work, Democracy will never work, Anarchy will never work. People who say that believe there is always one that WILL work. No leadership/way of rule will every truly "work". There will always be a rising power no matter how big or small. It's inevitable. Humans aren't perfect, therefore nothing they do will ever be perfect.

@themightychickens potentially in the city, although i've never lived there. in the country stuff happens all the time. Coyotes breaking into livestock, for some people just killing 'varmits', or hell, somenody tried to rob my grandpa's house a year ago. I'm sure in some parts of the city having a gun gives them safety. btw I love how you see the law as taking away guns from drunk people, besides people with actual intent.
@themightychickens14 жыл бұрын
@anUHkins Of course you can't stop the criminals who plan what to do, but you sure as hell prevent people from randomly shooting each other if they don't have a gun in their pocket/drawer.

@themightychickens thats probably at the bottom of the list for the argument of guns being illegal. Like I said, I live in the country and they're are guns everywhere. Although i'm sure it's happened in the past, in all my classmates in HS i don't know of any who have been killeed by accidental shootings. not to mention getting hit with a little pellet or BB gun is nothing to a shotgun, unless you get hit in the eye or whatnot.

@themightychickens Since the topic has been brought up here, what kind of political system do you think would work best, if any? Just some genuine curiosity from an admirer of the things you've said in comments regarding politics, in particular for the fact you, unlike most, recognize both Democrats and Republicans as parties that, for lack of a better term, are conservatives.
