I love Rise Against, but I was thinking the same thing. I kept waiting for something that put it over that level 5 difficulty, but this seems pretty doable to me.

Are they actual electronic drums or the RB4/RB4Rivals Drum-kit?

It's the standard kit. I do have 2 kick pedals and the cymbal expansion but that's all. The imput lag is like almost a full second.

Hey there mystakin do you know if there is anyway to currently have this type of setup for the ps4? I used to play rockband 1-3 and even hooked my yamaha set up, so I have the midi adapter. Would I just need to purchase the legacy adapter to get it to work?

You just need to plug in the midi-pro adapter to you PS4 and then your ekit and it should work. PS4 doesn't have any extra hoops to jump through besides the one
