I agree with you. people think royalty is glitz and glamour. Did you get Into marriage for the right reasons. Was the man a good man or just a gangster? Nobody is perfect but a man that already has such a tainted image is a questionable person to be involved in. I dont know... this thing is weird and very sad

Some of the facts that this woman - Channel is revealing sounds upsetting to Some Nigerians but in reality exposes how uncivilized we are living fake life and telling lies. Look for a Bible beliving Church for deliverance out of the blood convenant, you are into with ex-husband. 3. Take your son and go back to Canada or go back to your parents. 4. Stop beliving the lies people may be telling you by calling you, your royal highness or calling your son the crown king.5. Run for your life and that of your son and start a new life, before you find yourself in a greater mess. May GOD help you as you yield to this advice.

There is a parable in Yoruba land that goes like this: When a whole or an entire family is peacful, you will know that they have not born a Bastard in that family.I am looking at the future of this Akanbi family, the future of Iwo, and the future of Nigeria as regards the happening in Iwo Kingdom. The generation unborn will suffer for all this happening that people are taking as joke now. He interrupts, and makes inappropriate quips when the subject is trying to make an important/serious point. He needs to be a bit more disciplined, tactful and get up-skilled, to avoid embarrassing his interviewees. Asabe and other untrained bloggers will keep getting more of this sort of interviews, because the properly trained journalists are too scared, or have been bribed by powerful people to stay away from such stories. Asabe’s services are a necessity in a corrupt society like ours, but he needs to be a bit more professional in his delivery.

But I’m grateful that some of these celebrities are granting him interviews, which is giving us some type of glimpse into their private lives; he is a joke. I really feel sorry for this young lady, I hope she gets help that she needs to move on with her life. Let this be a lesson to all those naive young African girls/ladies who were born abroad or have never lived in Nigeria who think they can just jump into airplane and go visit Nigeria; sometimes thinking all that glitters goal around all these 419 princes and kings. These Olu Iwo and the rest of these show-off kings are disgrace to humanity! They’ve always been, will always be. We do not need any king in country why 99% of citizens are living in poverty. Yoruba kings are respected all over the world; i think this trending issues of disposing queens on fake aligation gat to stop. It is a shame , no other tribe's kings do all this rubbish. An hausa king or igbo, benin king doesn't do all this nonsense....I think all this rubbish should stop, women's dignity needs to be respected. .... Atleast 2 front kings has put off their wives so far....there are just been unfair to the women community all over the world.

Olori Chanel Chin, the estranged wife of Oluwo of Iwo, said something that I find very interesting. Hear her: “4 years ago, I came to Yorubaland on vacation with my friends. I was very excited, thinking I’d get to experience some authentic African culture. But I was disappointed! Don’t get me wrong, the culture is there if you know where to look. But some of the Oba, who are supposed to be the custodians of Yoruba culture and tradition, don’t know what they’re doing...Look at Oluwo, my estranged husband, for example, one minute he’s walking around the palace, calling himself an Emir; the other minute he wants to be addressed as an emperor...I’d argued with him, several times, over this strange behavior. I understand he’s a Muslim, but the throne that he heads is a traditional Yoruba throne. So, I’d think, as a Yoruba Oba, he’d respect the throne and uphold the Yoruba culture and tradition. I can’t say much, you know, because according to him, I’m from Canada; I don’t know anything! Let me ask you this: have you ever seen an Emir from the North, wearing Ofi and calling himself an Oba?” Chanel has only been in Yoruba country for 4 years, but she seems to have more sense that some of the so-called custodians of Yoruba tradition. Again, the Oba is a traditional tittle. If your religious worldview is incongruent to Yoruba tradition, then stay away from the traditional throne. You can be an Imam or a pastor, instead.
