Hello from INDIA and Well said Dr. about views on Pakistan, as a good neighbor I would not refer ourself as an example but we in INDIA are letting go the past , and adopting new aproach , but we do still have some religious beliefs which we are not letting go and, that's why we are not in top three yet...The day we understand that religion has nothing in it , we will be better than west. As west understood this nearly 700 years ago and developed rapidly. They threw the priest out between MAN and GOD and I would say the day we understand that there is no mediator between GOD and MAN, that day we will be the most developed nation on the planet, but honestly i don't see that happening in my life time at least.

@@mhk1411 سورۃ طہ کی ایت 100 سے 110 تک پڑھیں ۔ ان آیات میں عروج و زوال کے ہزار سال کے ساتھ ساتھ ایک عظیم الشان پیشگوئی اس زمانہ کہ لئے بیان ہوئی ہے جس میں بتایا گیا ہے کہ اب کن قوموں کا زوال ایا ہے اور جن قوموں کا زوال ایا ہے ان قوموں کی نشانی بھی اللہ تعالیٰ نے بتا دی ہے کوشش کریں سورۃ طہ کی میری بتائی ہوئی آیات کی تفسیر پڑھیں تا کہ اپکو ڈیٹیل میں سمجھ آجاۓ ان آیات میں معیاد بما زوال بما انجام موجود ہے ۔ قرآن کی ایک دوسری سورت میں ہزار سال بعد اس زمانے میں جو قومیں زوال پذیر ہونگی انکو کونسا عذاب دیا جائے گا وہ عذاب والی پیشگوئی بھی مل جاتی ہے یعنی ایٹمی دھماکے ۔ اگر کوئی بات کی سمجھ نا اے تو مجھے سے پوچھ لیں

Shukria Dr Sahib, I would like to share something. All thinkers/ Philosophers born in Central Europe. When society have the Tolerance to listen Critical Thinking or Out of Box solutions, they prosperous Mentally. When you stop these thinking societies start to decline. First 25 years of Pakistan were better because whatever institutions and manpower left by Britishers came to end . No new institutions or manpower generated by Pakistan itself. Pakistan still have the Human Potential to emerge,because the crossbreed children born in Pakistan. They have more potential but untapped by Governments. Brain Drain started in 1973 and now overflowing. When society is progressing everything progressing ( Not one or two Segments) . Americans didn't produce Philosophers/ Thinkers but they took the complete advantage of their thoughts in Governance. Only Chinese have taken a complete different approach for recovery. Are we ready to learn?.

I find this analysis misleading and not relavant to present times, may be even the past. First, it seems the rise and fall of nations is only defined by their achievements in arts and culture. Which seems to be the main theme of this analysis. This aspect by itself is very subjective and different regions and cultures have their own way of demonstrating arts, culture and society. Romans ay their peak may label Egyptians at their peak as 'barbaric'. Point is, what is your baseline arts, culture and society when you are analyzing rise and fall of nations? Is it Romans? Egyptians? English? Germainic? Secondly, I think all of this subjective arts, culture and society is based on education, economy and justice. These three aspects have not been mentioned, or not the main theme of this analysis. Romans/ English/Ottomans/ Mongolians from past, America/ China / India / Arabs from present have all started with getting their Economy and Justice systems sorted first and then comes the finer details ( which in my opinion are not the main drivers of rise or fall of a society although they do have influence).
