• Travis Fields an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Missouri - Kansas City. Travis is the director of the Drone Research and Teaching (DRAT) laboratory and is leading the charge for RooFly a new flight service and training program for unmanned aircraft to be used at the university and eventually throughout the community. His expertise is in aerial delivery systems and unmanned aircraft theory and applications including trajectory generation, control system design, unique aircraft construction, and flight testing.

• Anthony Caruso a Distinguished Professor of Physics & Astronomy, Professor of Electrical Engineering, and Associate Vice Chancellor for Research at UMKC. He has been awarded over $37M in funding, published over 85 peer reviewed journal articles, holds 8 patents, and is/has supervised over 50 undergraduate and graduate students. Anthony has been honored by the Intel Corporation, the Office of Naval Research, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and by Industry Peers (R&D100 award) for technologies and processes developed while at UMKC. Most recently, Anthony is overseeing a counter drone program.
