3:42 This is basically like the bathtubs in Japan. Most houses have a control panel in the kitchen that will get the bath started and at the right temperature. Once the bath is ready the panel plays a little tune.

It's funny how this technology is presented and how many it costs! I did this at my home and all the costs were under 2000 usd. I got around 200 units in my house doing something, either sensors or actuators.

"Google say that everyone will be wearing these in about a year" (likely release 2014) - it is now 2020 and I haven't even seen proper marketing for the thing never mind actually looked to buy one. "I don't like the fact that when the front wheel hits a hole, you feel you might die" - Perhaps because its place of manufacture, Germany, haven't heard of such things like holes in roads! It feels like a licence to do what you want a bit like Catholic confession could be in unscrupulous hands. It's all a bit of a minefield really. I might try and avoid it all :-)
