"Rise Like A Phoenix" Featuring Samuel D Lewis

Team Wolds Pride are still flying high after our charitable status announcement last night! And we wanted to continue the celebrations with a brand new musical tribute featuring the sensational talents of Samuel D Lewis.
According to legend, the Phoenix "rises anew" during every rebirth. We are thrilled to be "rising anew" and transitioning into this next chapter of our journey as a charitable incorporated organisation.
"Rise Like a Phoenix" is a pop song performed by Austrian singer Conchita Wurst, and was the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014.
Conchita made history as the first bearded drag artist to represent a country, and win the Eurovision song contest.
"It's the story of my life," she says, "and the story of so many people in the LGBTIQ community."
The track used within this clip was selected by Samuel D Lewis.
