Greetings Lord Acer, I started making videos for the main purpose of training new players, I have a few old accounts in a few old states. I became a little bored, as i was running out of players to train. I was in Combat Communications U.S. Army attached to 82nd Airborne Enough History. Rules and thing changed I had began making updated videos just before you started making ROE videos. So I thank you, and Mr Gill I now use both of yalls and so far have not had a need to make any myself. I was preparing notes to do a ROC video although you already had a couple i felt some things needed more attention and low and behold you published this 1. Truth be told, I was kind of disappointed in the video, mostly because of the misleading title. This is a tips video, not a "basics" video. I'm a true newbie to RoC, and I've had a lot of trouble finding a video or article that truly explains the BASICS: 1. Why is the area so crowded? What are all these buildings I'm not used to seeing, and who builds them? I figure only R4 and R5 can place alliance centers, but what about all the rest of the stuff besides keeps, farms, quarries, etc. that I'm seeing? 2. How does this relate to the heroes duel? Or is it something else entirely? 3. How do you occupy spaces, and what exactly does that mean? What does it do? Does it cost anything? 4. What happens if you don't join in? Do you still get attacked? 5. What's the point of it all? Those are just the questions I know of offhand. Like I said, the basics. :(

It was nice that you took the time to do this. However...here are my stumbling blocks; 1. I have no idea where this is all going. Without some idea of the goal(s), I feel like I'm just stumbling around in the dark, and can't even make the simplest of educated guesses what to do next. There's a reason why any kind of presentation should have an introductory statement, objectives for learning, and summarizations, surrounding the body of knowledge to be imparted. 2. The information was explained, by an experienced, knowledgeable player, for experienced unknowledgeable players. I'm neither experienced, nor knowledgeable, so most of this information meant absolutely nothing to me. 3. On the Province(server) I play on, we just started RoC, and this video was shared with everyone in my alliance, and with the exception of the few experienced players who already have done this on other servers, everyone else is completely lost - including me, and I'm usually the one in games like these, that reads everything, and teaches others. I can do all the things you mention in the video, but I have no idea why I'm doing them, or what they actually do. I'm about to give up on this stupid bullshit, if I can't find someone that can explain this crap, in a way I can understand.

But being a beginner when I heard that reign of chaos was going to start, I thought it will be better to watch some beginners video regarding it instead of try and wing it. But this video is not what I was searching for at all. It claims to cover everything including the basics of reign of chaos, but doesn't.

I'm sure the author assumes we've spent at least some time looking at & testing out this new chapter in our provinces. If you didn't bother with that, but figured you'd skip right to strategy (even for beginners), then how do you expect to have any reference to the information? I spent a day just looking everything over & experimenting before seeking a better strategy, so i have some reference to what the author is helping explain. Right now that's infinitely more helpful than what RoE gave us to work with in-game! The best thing you could do is play your game out a bit more, talk to your alliance & watch what others are doing, then come back and watch the video again.

RoC is far too complicated for a “cell phone game”. The level of communication and coordination required is not realistic for alliances with players of varying fluency in English. Our state (279) is just finishing up its first CoP and we have lost every single event. By big margins in most events. Our first RoC is coming in two days. It’s going to be a huge clusterfuck and fail.

I love your Videos, really learned a lot from them. BUT, i never played reign of chaos yet. I don't even know what happenes there. I do not understand a bit what you are talking about here :( for a basics video, it would have been nice to explain what basically happenes at reign of chaos. If possible some video footage of reign of chaos action. Are there marauders attacking? why take tiles anyway? how to score? whats the loot? when does reign of chaos start at a newer server?

Then click either of the #'s on top of the screen that represent personal & alliance contribution pts... that will show you a list of the different ways we earn contribution each day, the point caps, and how many you've gotten for the day. The bottom one is stone contribution and clicking that lets you donate 🤘

Before moving anywhere else you want to get around 18 specialty points on the blue which is just a little more than three queues. Then you want to move to Green to get yourself to around 24 specialty points. Then finally down to unlock all the guardian buildings. Then back to processing so that you can go ahead and take level 16 tiles

You need to find an empty plot and occupy it. It is not officially a tile yet. As in not blue or white or green..A blue tile belongs to an ally and the white is an enemy, and green is yourself
