Larssen is a great laner... the issue is when it comes to transitioning that out of lane. Larssen is basically the EU Chovy. He always has huge leads and massive CS numbers but isnt always effective in the game.

Larssen and Chovy are very similar because they both play insanely well around their laning and farming but when it comes to moving that around the map they both Struggle. Thats what I mean when I say he is the EU Chovy... its also part of the reason they are both known as Chokers.

Love the insight on what perkz brings to u in a best of 5 makes me belive in vitality a lot more but idk if selfmade will just get gapped from jankos all series long gonna be a spicy one thats for sure

G2 makes me so sad atm. Cause we have see glimtses of the old caps in the split. Percisely 3 times in the later weeks. Once, was the game against misfits they ended up throwing, but caps was really good on the ahri. The second was against xl, when caps was really good on the azir, played very clean. And the last time was against bds on the sylas, but it's still bds. But aside from that, we have, one ahri game where he was really good against fnc, but he and the rest of the team mega inted in a lvl 3 fight, and threw the game there, couldn't catch up after it. Like, the ahri game (which was absically catch-up the whole time) caps never just missed a skillshot, but there teamfights overall were just subpar. I don't want this to be G2 and caps, I would support caps even if he inted away a whole split as long as he's always trying to be the carry who'll clutch a lost game to victory.

First of all, i totally agree with you. And luckily caps did just deliver (in the VIT-G2 series). His sylas game wasnt that good scoreline-wise. But that was because he pushed his luck, i think he very much did what u just descriped. He really pushed perkz and gave his team room to work with. I think they will win vs MSF. But rge and fnc will be tough matches dont you think?

@@jochem3030 Yes. I still have som hopium their lower-bracket run will give them enough games to get better. But If I am to be realistic, I don't think they will make finals, I think they finish third this split. Larsen and humanoid are good enough to challange caps in the mid lane, and even exceed him from what we have seen so far. Wunder and Odo are about equal to BB (give or take) Same with jungle. Except both rogue and fnc seem much more coherent and put together than G2, plaus they have a better botlane for sure. As for caps this series, I agree, he really showed up to some of his old ways, which I like. That's what caused the sylas game, for example, playing super slim margins, and sometiems inting a bit. But if he was to execute some of those moments a little bit different, he would smurf really hard, and for this team I prefer that. I also think taht caps was being very proffessional about it this game, cause when flakked had gotten enough resources on the jinx to carry teamfights, caps didn't go for those plays anymore, he just made sure to facilitate his team. What taht shows a an ability to stem the bleeding when things go poorly for him, and that he knows how to play well even when he isn't the main carry, regardless of if he is on a carry champ or not. Sorry if this was a bit long, but I think this is one of the few times someone doesn't just start screaching in pain as soon as you start to discuss this topic. :)

And now that i think about it, thats only to be expected for a new roster, with 'rookies' in it as well. I have my hopes up for summer! 2 sidenotes: 1. I enjoy the reasonable exchange of thoughts as well. 2. I always felt like carrzy instead of rekkles last year would have been a super team, carzzy is so good weakside, but can also carry with resources (which game 3 showcases to some extend)

@@jochem3030 Yeah, like, I didn't expect them to win this split, I didn't even think an upset was possible to make it happen. I just assumed that some Jankos/caps shenanigans would happen to make them top 3. But typically what's a good rule of thumb, is rookies need about a year to get into the form where you decide if you want them or not. One split is a bit short imo. But for summer I think the big questions will be G2 and Vitality. Both have good reason to be able to improve alot for summer. Where as rogue and fnc already look really strong. I will be very excited to see how things end up going then. Now when you say it, I think taht makes sense, I alos understand why they took rekkles. but in hindsight I think carzzy would provide what they needed for the team, and would also fit really well into the team atmostphere.

@@nathanaelsallhageriksson1719 I do agree on your takes of rge, fnc and g2. Vit on the other hand, i dont feel like they have a lot of room to improve. As has been mentioned in these shows a few times already, i feel VIT has to many 'ego'/ resource heavy players on the team. They are not willing to sacrefice, look at selfmades pathing when g2 did the second baron in game 3. Hes not even going to the baron for some reason? I think this VIT + jankos would kill it, but thats not gonna happen. Still think VIT should swap jungle or support (and personally i pref another jungler) to get a more cohesive team.

i think one distinction between Rekkles and Upset is that when Rekkles do dorminate he dorminates harder, but those forms arent consistent and he tends to mentaly restrict himself. Upset is worse at finishing games but he is consistently there with that said Upset did suck in some of his past lineups, it wasnt all training weights holding him down

Why? What do you think BO3 does? Nothing... More games? Man they scrim all day. Is not the same thing that playing on stage? We played the last two years online, so its the same thing than a scrim, and guess what, the gap got bigger. East is simply more talented, BO3 wont do anything, and will be boring watching Astralis x BDS per example... G2 and FNC 2018/2019 got lucky, with the teams they faced or/and how they won, the gap was alaways huge, 2020/2021 are the prove you need.

I appreciate what Mac said Elyoya’s natural tendencies are as a jungler that wants to play in the enemy jungle, but he really doesn’t have the lanes to get enough priority to back him up-even if Reeker could push and move more, his drafts didn’t seem set up for that as well complimentarily. I’m hoping MAD learned some lessons to rotate their pieces right for next split.

Also as I said The entirety of G2 was sprinting it down that year. Jankos and Rekkles were literally the only people that weren't. Even with Hans - They finished 5th regular season and were not a great team. They were average. Look I get it you hate rekkles and just want to paint the idea that he was garbage because of 2021... but 10 years of LoL vs 1 year on G2 where they finished top 4 even with Wunder losing every single lane and Caps disappearing. Rekkles won MVP in Spring and G2 were in first place - This idea that he was always just dogshit is laughable.

This is only good if it would work as him giving his teammates a go and they are on the same page. If it doesn’t fix the stuff Labrov etc. are missing rn it just prevents him from being able to carry teamfights. I see you point, it might even be absolution but it’s not necessarily the case. They probably tried this in practise, so there is for sure a reason they haven’t done this yet.
