Use lvl 1 stars till 80%. Then 3 lvl 3 and 3 lvl 2. That will increase your chances to 4 stars.

That’s how I do it. I always make sure to get to 80% before trying to get to 4 stars, as it then helps with using less stars to get what you need.

If you aren’t as rich, get the commander to level 20 and then get as close to 3 stars as possible, then do 4 dazzling bundles and 2 brilliant dazzlings (I believe) to have better luck than basically gambling like this XD

you can also recreate that with 4 3 bundle and 2 2 bundle but with 98% to be filled 2nd star, tho it always falls to luck and hit that bonus chance it was really useful back then when your XP locked at what ever star your locked in, like you'll be stuck maxed xp on a lvl 20 2 star for a long time till you unlock your 3rd and so on lucky XP gain is no longer locked at what star lvl your stuck in
