notes from a veteran :P the best combination I've found is 3 teams (toughest diff): main enemy army with 5 players, cannon fodder with 2 and you, single player. If you can take out 1 out of the 5 before they steamroll the cannon fodder you are in for a real treat, imo the best this game has to offer. Alternative you can go 3vs5 but allied AI is ultra dumb so it might be easier just doing 1vs7 on tough difficulty additonally just forget bout all combat before the industrial age, get your armored spearheads ready and start bonking

I still have a hard time doing this but it's too easy with Capital elimination. I think only full conquest is fair but then again that's fighting fair against unfair which is basically impossible

It varies. I had a game where 3 of them rushed me in ancient age, must be randomized at start.

there are multiple "toughest" ai. if you just select "computer" its random, whereas you can specificy computer "rush" or "boom" if you want

With the world government, capturing just one of the Persian capitals irrespective of where the senate is and also irrespective of which one was the original capital city will result in instant victory. If the Persians have forbidden city, then the obviously if they lose one of the caps, again irrespective of where the senate is and also irrespective of which one was the original city, there will be no instant victory. Now, one would think that if he now captures the forbidden city, it will lead to instant victory but that is not the case. After capturing the forbidden city, one will have to capture the last capital city to get instant victory. Furthermore, if one managed to capture any Persian capital city before researching the World Government, one would now think that if he researches the World Governement, he will get instant victory but that again is not the case as you will still have to capture the last Persian capital city to get instant victory. Now, since the capital status of the original Persian capital city (Persepolis) cannot be changed as I have checked it (correct me if I am wrong please), one being Persian with his enemy managing to push in the direction of the Persepolis will put him at a disadvantage after the game reaches the World Government state.

Hey man so awesome video this was. Never lesrnt how to properly play this video Currently struggling so much with 1v1 tough ai. One key thing that i learnt from this video in particular is how u remained calm when u kept getting the notification sound that one hets whenever he is getting attacked by the ai. Now i am someone who is being currently bothered by even a single sound and i learnt from here that sometimes the key is let go of the arm to save the body haha. Like how did u did when yellow captured one of hour cities and u lefr it. Had it been me i would have directed all my resources to save that city

I would ask somethin that's been buggin me. It's about the "tCords/wCords", and those are about MAP SIZE. Is it possible to make a biGGer map than 140 (in game .rules file) without bugging and cursor unresponding or sometimes crashing the game? Thanks comrades 👊
