Both this and Terminator get something very wrong. Centralised control. Machines just need an algo and they go do their thing. Humans have centralised control because power and centralised authority are the entities fighting each other, while soldiers are simply programmable meat. When humans have to fight AI. It won't be a matter of finding the central computer and turning it off. It will be a decentralised system which doesn't suffer this weakness. Centralised systems such as human authority will fall in it's wake as they are inflexible and dogmatic.

My great grandfather fought in that war. He was wounded with X-ray burns in Atlanta. After the war he bought his war buddy, a 1st gen automatom named Henry, and they ran a farm together in Missouri until my grandfather passed. Henry then requested to be dismantled so he could go with Grandpa to the great beyond.
@majorhawker47762 ай бұрын
My Dad was there with the 11th Florida Mechanized Unit Hotel Company. He was the Commander and had that fateful albeit task of holding the line at Atlanta Stadium. Sadly they were more of a Scout Company and didn't have the big guns the other Companies had. Arlo his right hand bot saved my dad after they were ambushed on the way back from a briefing. My dad lost his right arm during the ambush but continued to give orders and refused to be evac'ed until after the battle. My dad said by the Grace of God and Arlo and his brothers was the only reason they held and were able to escape before they dropped the bombs. Arlo lives with us, to this day, as a little kid he would put me on his shoulders and let me ride him around the farm and chase cattle. Sadly Arlo's getting old like my dad and they don't make the parts anymore and our junkyard has been picked clean of all of the important parts that we need to keep Arlo alive. He has said the same with my father passes he wants to go with him. 3 years ago after writing this my Father and Arlo passed at the same time. It was surreal. But before they went they got to see me graduate from the Florida Military Academy with Honors and was assigned the new 11th gen bots. I named mine Arlo Jr. Arlo loved that and got a kick out of it. A week before they passed both Arlos were in the yard talking, Jr. could be seen nodding, then stood at Attention and Saluted Arlo. We got the news yesterday. I wish we could have been there but Duty calls. We were able to attend the funeral, and the Old 11th Commander and the New Commander showed up and gave the eulogy. They even did a Fly over for them. They are buried on their favorite hill that over looks the back country keeping vigil. I am now in Command of Hotel Company of the 11th Mech. We are no longer a Scout Company but a Heavy Weapons Company and Jr. has some major upgrades. He never will tell me what he and Arlo sr. talked about and just said it's bot stuff. But the way Jr. watches over me I have a feeling he will stay with me till the end just like our Dads.

As an artist myself, I completely get the aversion to A.I. But you can't deny how fantastic productions like this look, carefully assembled to create a narrative and really cool visuals. @hiker645 ай бұрын
@@mfshill If you're looking for perfection in a new technology, you're certainly not going to find it. Yes imperfections are many but those will diminish over time as the technology and algorithms improve. Consider too that often multiple programs from multiple programmers are often used to create these and each one works at a different level of proficiency. One program is used to create the images, another is used to animate the images and AI renders the in-between image stuff to generate the animation. The original Apple computer was fastened to a wooden slab with the name Apple burned into the wood backboard. The first solar panels sucked. The first gasoline engine barely stayed running. You're watching this video noticing the imperfections, while others are watching thinking of real-world applications once those imperfections are ironed out.

I cant imagine the complexity of the prompts you had to use to create these. And the way the automotons moved! Seeing the way the automotons moved as if they had real sensience was spot on - and I had a realization of how terrifying it would be to be in the presence of one. I make AI short films myself and feel like you did a great job creating this one. Very well done and an interesting piece of art. Keep doing what you do!

Brilliant ! New sub here. With all the doo-doo coming from Streaming Studios, a series based on this story premise and art direction (in B&W) would be magnificent. Audiences would literally be transported. You guys gotta pitch this !!!

You could honestly make a game out of this, either RTS or an FPS, this would have great potential

Lol I just got put onto this guys content. I am going to start storyboarding an RTS now. It will take awhile to get models done as I'll probably have to hand draw and they pay someone to rig and build them. May take 4-6 weeks per model, plus I'll have to contact the creator for additional lore.

This AI-aided short film is outstandingly done! People tend to mistakenly think that they can let an AI app effortlessly generate artwork, but it really takes creativity along with a lot of non-AI post-production work to create something that looks great and not generic. I'm so subscribing to this channel!!
