Instead of rerouting bad water between the badwater source and mine, make a reservoir of levee's around the water source, leaving 2 or 3 open spots across the edge of the map, and floodgates across where the water falls down into the dam. When bad water tides occur, close the floodgates and the badwater will just fall off the edge of the map into nothingness after it fills the reservoir up to where the holes in your levees are :) That way you can keep that land for building. Also if you are able to plug the badwater source with a badwater rig, that will clean up the land around the source, so no need for those panels that prevent contamination but I see you are using the flow for power so that might not be an option.
